Days after the Board of Directors Meeting

Creature Wrestling. No other organization on the face of this planet can compare. For nearly 12 years- Creature Wrestling not only found this sport, defined it and chiseled it to what it is today- but it IS the sport.

All look up to CW for inspiration and for direction for a reason.... simply put, CW is the leader of it's own genre! CW isn't just the first, the standard, the best but also- the alpha and the omega. For 12 years Creatures dominated Creature Wrestling... and the Arcane family has had an iron fist over who does and who doesn't belong in this legendary federation. That all changed once a mortal man, formerly known as John Murphy, called Sage entered CW with a manifest destiny. That destiny- to change the landscape of Creature Wrestling forever. Now. As the cogwheels have now turned towards the approaching CW Inferno Crisis Pay-Per-View- the entire organization enters uncertainty over it's future.

The location: CW Headquarters in New York City.
Inside one of the building's massive convention rooms- there were rows upon rows of media flashing their cameras and holding their microphones upward towards the platform which contained the entire Board of Directors.... After a brief introduction by Micheal Cole- The President of Creature Wrestling: Richard Arcane, stands up and greets the media with answers to their questions.

Richard Arcane: I welcome all of you here tonight for a very special state of the CW address. First and foremost, as Creature Wrestling dives head strong into it's 12th year of dominance we will be awarding our Creature Wrestlers CW MegaSlammies awards for their hard earned work for proving once again that Creature Wrestling stands above all else and has absolutely owned the airways.... which by the way let us offer a round of applause to the NSA for expanding our presence all across the world!!

Everyone, including Richard, turn in the direction of Reverend Jones who was seated on the stage along with the rest of the Board- and they clap! The Reverend just slightly grinned and eyed the crowd with his cat-like eerie eyes....

Richard Arcane: Now. In regards to the greatest title that can ever be achieved in this sport... the Absolute Undisputed Championship. Our dear Reverend has agreed to set a date for the title's distribution on CW Inferno Crisis. Already one of the contenders confirmed for this match is the Lord of Blood, Kizmat. His opponent, however, is still a dispute. For that I shall pass the ball over to my brother, the founder of our sport, Alexander Arcane!

Alex smiles like the cheshire cat and promptly stands up to take over.... the media greeted the founder with an applause- and then he continues....

Alexander Arcane: Creatures. They been the backbone of our sport. But can that be said for Wrestling in general. Ladies and Gentlemen- a human wrestler by the name of Sage has proposed that the old way of things are long gone. That he alone can change the landscape of Creature Wrestling.... this sport. I give Sage credit for pitching such a radical idea but it is just that a radical idea. [laughs]

A media reporter shouts "Why not give him a chance to prove you wrong!?"

Alexander grins

Alexander Arcane: We are in the business of proving people wrong. Creature Wrestling has thrived because of it's legacy and it's originality. There's a reason why everyone looks up to us.... wishing to be like us.... but they fail miserably. Sage states that he is not here to reinvent CW but to enhance it.... I don't see a reason why he cannot. But he STILL has to EARN his right to be called a Creature Wrestler. That is why, ladies and gentlemen, Sage has been given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become the Absolute Champion... that is, if he can survive the trials and tribulations.

The room was stone silent....
