Earning your way? Stop whining.
Did I happen to hear…”best, blood, sweat, tears, Kizmat, rise and fall” all in that one speech? Impressive. Turns out luck isn’t the only skill you have apparently.
Grinning the King of CW stepped through Arcane’s office door. Even Richard looked surprised.
Arcane: “What--”
Well…I heard Kizmat. And since this guy seems to have gotten lucky with Spade, I just want to wish him good luck against Kizzy.
Steel: “I don’t--”
Want or need my help. I know. You know it surprises me. Maybe I was this arrogant once before. You think you deserve everything after just one match with the Unholy One? Try going up against the biggest name in the business card after card, and be denied your passage into glory.
I was like you, clawing for my shots, but I didn’t bitch and moan after trials. Hell, I welcomed a good fight every now and then. I went looking for them. Call me crazy, but I think I am now. These aren’t tests; they’re what you HAVE to do to EARN your way! Kid when you have done as much as some of us has here, you’ll learn that “cold steel”, is nothing more than chairs, legs to a table, and a table in a morgue.
The King walked up to him. Grinning, Gojinn looked down at Derek, staring into his fiery eyes.
Just because you think you’re ready, doesn’t mean the boys around here think you are. Make us know it. Beat Kizmat, and make it look like good! If you can do that, and make it look like you want it, then you’ll have proven you WANT the title. There’s still the issue of deserving it.
Gojinn stared hard at him, this time being deadly serious with him.
If anyone deserves the Undisputed Title, it’s me! But….
He turned his attention to Richard.
SOME people are the only ones with power to do that though.
He turned to Derek again.
You REALLY think you’re gonna beat Kizmat…don’t you?
