Deadly Dealings
Allyson had become impatient. She was drumming her fingers along the arm of the chair, and then finally he came in. He sat down casually with a unique smile that made you want to smile, and vomit at the same time, knowing the sick, demented, mind behind the look.
The fat man stared at the young women, and smiled more. He slid an envelope across the table, which Kevin snatched up, and handed to Allyson. She opened it, and read the slip of paper inside, quickly passing it off to James. He read it, sighed, and replaced it. His face showed a sad, depressed look. Allyson held the same thing in her eyes only. Kevin had a little idea of what was happening…
James passed the paper to Allyson again, who scribbled something down and passed it back to the fat man. He glanced at the paper, nodded and burned it then and there. James dropped his head, a single tear falling from his eye.
Allyson saw this, and nearly did the same thing, but stayed strong, as the fat man spoke.
It’s nice to see you again. I’m glad we could finally work this out.

But now, I’ve been given a rare opportunity. The leader of the syndicate has had a minor medical problem. He’s run into a small case of death, so now I’m the leader, and I no longer care if your friend lives or dies.
Kevin glared into the mans eyes. It made him sick to be sitting her and he stood up, reaching for him, but Allyson rgabbed him, and slammed him back into the seat.
Once more kid, and ‘dese guys will follow ya till you’re in grave!
Glaring at the teen, the man sighed, and slammed his fist. He turned to Allyson.
We have a deal then. All you have to do is be home for a while with him, and we’ll take care of everything else. Just distract him.
“Prick.”
What James means to say…is we have a deal….
