Gojinn
Search for a killer... [Closed]
I NEVER FORGOT!
Mac wound up and booted Gojinn in the ribcage. He lay on the floor, blood oozing from his lips, as some ran off his head to the rug. His arms and legs were bound heavily and he couldn’t move from the tranquilizer. His body was sweating from the chemicals mixed in with the dart that had hit him earlier, and it was making it even harder for him to talk now.
He simply lay on the floor, Mac standing above him grinning.
You killed Lu thinkin’ it was all ova, huh? You thought the first wave of hitters was it, huh? You probably thought that I’d forgotten… that I’d left town in a hurry to escape you and yours.
He knelt down on one knee and grabbed Gojinn’s face with his hand, making him look right at him.
I’ll never forget about you…
Gojinn’s face smacked back to the rug and he sighed. What a day… what a day…
Hit Play
Gojinn kept a keen eye on his surroundings as he moved quickly and quietly through the city. He had so many warnings as of late, and needed to get away from the mansion for once. He’d had another, more troubling dream as of late. He was in a line of people. All of their faces were hidden behind brims of rimmed hats or veils, and all the men and women wore black. He tried to talk, but found himself unable to, and kept getting pushed down this line by some unnamable force.
The sweat built, as his eyes shifted around, desperately trying to wake himself up or move from the line. It didn’t happen though, and slowly he approached a casket. The people around him said their goodbyes the deceased, and walked off into a foggy darkness all around. Slowly he finally approached, and then looked down unwillingly at his own body. Dressed in a fine suit, it lay there, prone in the casket. Unable to move his eyes he just stared…wondering what to do.
Finally, its eyes opened, and Gojinn stared into his own soul but a moment, before it reached up, and grasped him by the throat. He didn’t even blink, as the bottom of the casket slowly disintegrated and then both plunged into a fiery darkness. Gojinn felt his flesh melting from his bones, his wings uncasing themselves from his back to try to get away, but also slowly melting away to nearly nothing. His face became nothing, his eyes simply holes, and then he felt nothing and awoke.
That kept him in the city tonight. The fear of those who were coming for him kept him away from those he loved. Besides, what better place to hide than in plain sight? They’d be looking all over the mansion area for him, and no doubt have posted some lookouts throughout the city, but they’d be expecting him to hide out at home more than likely.
In any case, he needed some answers, so he went to one of his connections. The guy was a “psychic” of sorts. He could, in fact, predict some things based on visions he got when he came in contact with people, but his visions were never perfectly clear on the details, but it was his best shot.
Gojinn had had some falling out with his contacts before, so he wasn’t sure if Alex would be happy to see him or not. He didn’t care at this point. He was getting his answers now.
He threw the door open to the apartment building and began up the steep and cramped stairwell to the second floor. He pulled out his magnum and kicked down Alex’s door, shooting the man sitting in the chair. He fell over and died immediately from the bullet penetrating his skull. Gojinn could sense him sitting there, and knew it was one of the Mafia plants for Gojinn.
He had a walkie talkie, so obviously he was checking in every so often. That meant Gojinn needed to get in and out quickly. Alex saw him and his eyes went wide with panic.
Oh shit not you! Ahhh!
He hopped out the open window onto the fire escape and rushed up the stairs as quickly as he could. Gojinn had no time to be slow, so as he ran for the window he blew out the upper part and whole frame with a telekinetic pulse, and dove out onto the escape quickly. However, he overestimated the strength of the escape, and realized soon it wasn’t going to hold. In fact, as he landed, and collided with the railing, the railing blew out and swung, bending at it’s next joint. Gojinn latched on and swung, as the platform gave way and slanted downward.
Okay, not the best plan…
He pulled himself up enough to throw a leg up, and rush for the next floor. Alex had already gotten onto the roof, and Gojinn was two floors off.
He sprinted up each staircase, and emerged up top, just as Alex leapt from the rooftop to the building across the alley, slapping down onto his stomach across the gravel. He yelled in pain. Gojinn sighed and rushed for the other side, leaping and setting down in a crouch, rolling through to ease the pain. He was right onto his feet chasing Alex and dove, tackling him down before he got far.
He flipped him onto his back and put the gun to his forehead.
DEATH! DEAAAATH!
Gojinn just stared. Alex’s eyes were filled with terror, but both of his eyeballs had turned pure black, meaning he’d read his future, probably during the tackle. He climbed up, as Alex began scrambling for the fire door on the roof. Gojinn flopped back and sat down silently, tucking his gun away. It was true then. Death was coming. But it wouldn’t have to be his. He stood up, and put a foot on the chest of his seer.
Tell me who. Tell me now.
It’s….it’s….FUCK YOU!
Gojinn tilted his head, confused. Alex didn’t have balls to speak of, so where had this come from? His black eyes reflected some light from behind Gojinn, and in that, he saw a shadow, move, and quickly dove to the wide, seeing something fly his way! A huge saw blade came soaring in, crushing in Alex’s chest, sending him flying through the wooden wall.
Gojinn ran across the rooftop, using all his powers to kick up his agility enough to outrun the blade that had come flying at him suddenly. Knowing he wouldn’t end up outrunning it, he pulled out his pistol, and concentrated a powerful telekinetic shield around the ammunition. Quickly, he pulled the trigger, and ran hard, falling face first, and tucking in, so as to avoid the blade that soared over his back, as he fell through the roof into the apartment room. The shadow from before screams.
It’s not human.
Gojinn wastes no time exploding the wall in front of him and diving into the street. He crushes the roof of a car, and in almost slow motion, he sees the windows bend, and then crack, before flying out, and spinning wildly in all different directions.
Have to escape.
Have to get away.
