[TF: The night before ECF Karnage… House show in Duluth, Minnesota.]



The fans are all excited for tonight’s main event. Gojinn has promised a great show: A four on one tune-up match against him just one night before his match against Pimp. He’s allowed four top-tier rookies to make their debut against him tonight and been warming up in the back.

Music hits.


PLAY

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the closing match and it is a four man gauntlet match!!!! Introducing first…

The four men came rushing from the back, hopping all around the stage to hometown cheers. The announcer introduced them each, one at a time… and they entered the ring, warming themselves up with sprints off the ropes and stretches, trying to keep themselves ready for the match ahead. The lights go out…

Announcer: And introducing the UNDISPUTED CW CHAMPION!!!!.....



But he didn’t come out…

[MEANWHILE IN THE BACK…]

The tron lights up with live footage..

Ref: Get some help in here guys!!

Medic: Clear the way! Come on!!

Bystander: What the hell happened?!

Camera Crew: We heard some noises, a fight it sounded like. We ran to get here… but it was too late…

Kevin McKain, ECF DP, rushes to the scene. He pushes his way into the locker room.

What happened?!

Crew: No idea sir.. We got here and..

His voice trails off, as a sputtering is heard.

Hey! He’s awake! Is he alright!?

Silence for a moment from the medics…

I’ll……be fine…

Just then, the former Intercontinental Champion enters.

What the hell!? What happened?!

McKain’s face lights up. He looks at Pimp, and then Gojinn, and then Pimp again, laughing.

It was you wasn’t it?!

The fans boo…

McKain if I were you, I’d shut your fucking mouth!

Security, remove this man from the building. He did his job tonight!

McKain!! HEY! Get off me! Get off me! MCKAIN!!!

Pimp is dragged off, as Gojinn staggers up, and tries to get to Pimp.

I’ll kill you Pimp!! I’ll kill you!!!

Medic: Hey! You need attention!!!

Gojinn turns and grabs the medic by the shirt collar, and launches him across the room into a locker. He drops to the floor unconscious. He tosses the ref aside, and grabs Kevin by his shirt pulling him close. He speaks…

I’ve got a match tonight. Tomorrow, I’ve got another match. I’m not losing either. You and me… we’re not friends still. We’re allies though.. so I’ll see you at match time…

Gojinn spits a wad of blood on the floor, and grabs a towel, wiping the blood off of his face. He slowly limps away…

[PAUSE ABOVE MUSIC]


PLAY

The fans scream out!! The tron lights up!




Gojinn emerges from the back, as the lights dance around the arena. Carrying the bloodied Undisputed Title, he limps towards the ring, trying to shake the cobwebs loose from his head. He seems to be dizzy as well, as he staggers towards the ring, and quickly, one of the hometown hero boys rushes towards him, clubbing him in the head!! He knocks him into the guardrail, and drags him to the ring, lacing knees to the midsection along the way! The other three head towards the stage again to wait at the top…

Gojinn gets rolled into the ring. He can’t quite move yet, before the rookie drops an elbow onto his chest. He coughs up some more blood, as the rookie drags him to his feet and tosses him across the ring to the ropes. Gojinn grabs on, and stops himself, as the rookie, makes an honest mistake, bending over for a back drop. Gojin steps forward and grabs his head! He locks in a stand head scissor, hooks both arms, JUMPS UP, AND SPIKES HIS FACE RIGHT INTO THE MAT!! CRIPPLER KILLSWITCH VOL 2!!!!

The kids head bounces off the mat and he flies across the ring! Gojinn crawls over, and makes the pin!!!

3!!! He rolls off and starts to get to a vertical position, but before he can, one of the younger kids is in and hits a Shining Wizard that practically rips Gojinns skull apart!!!

NO! Gojinn touches the rope with his hand! The rookie helps him up quickly, and choke tosses him to the ropes laying in a few kicks to the midsection! He steps onto the middle rope, and uses his free foot to aim a kick to the King’s head!! He ducks under it!! The kid swings right over him, and lands crotch first on the ropes!! Gojinns grabs on and makes him ripe like a horse on the damn thing! This is incredible! He launches the kid back into the ring, and hangs onto the ropes, drained of stamina for this damned match. His head is still bleeding pretty badly, as he tries to see what’s happening. His attacker is playing possum pretty clearly. Gojinn humors him though and steps in! The rookie pops up AND SWINGS A FOOT RIGHT TO HIS HEAD, BUT THE KING DUCKS UNDER AGAIN, AND THE GRABS THE ANKLE, SLAMMING HIM FACE DOWN AND DROPPING, LEG LOCKING THE TORQUED ANKLE, AND ADDING PRESSURE, FORCING THE TAP OUT!!

The crowd cheers for the third chance, and he dives in, as Gojinn releases the hold, and locks him in a head lock!! Gojinn struggles to breathe here, and manages to kick at the rope, forcing the ref to break the hold. He picks the King up and locks him in a chickenwing, which he reverses quickly and shoves his opponent away. It doesn’t matter though, as he uses the momentum to run off the ropes and come flying back for a clothesline!! Gojinn ducks, and as he spins back around, PRESSES HIM ABOVE HIS HEAD!!!

The crowd roars, but suddenly Gojinn starts blinking!! His opponent drops to the mat, and Gojinn staggers back, and collapses!! EMT’s emerge and start for the ring, but the hometown kids are holding them off, desperately trying to make sure Gojinn gets a beating. The King barely moves, as his opponent drops on him for the pinfall!!!

KICKOUT! Gojinn does it again!! The submission expert grabs his head, and attempts a butterfly lock which Gojinn denies, and fights him off, crawling to get away. He rolls from the ring, and his attacker promptly follows, shoving him to the barricade! Gojinn uses it to brace himself and kicks him in the face, pushes off, and throws him head first into the stairs!! The ref gasps at the move, and Gojinn screams at him!!! He slides back into the ring, but the kid is motionless!

…6…..7…..8…..9…..10!!! Gojinn has one guy left!!

He lets out a war cry, the biggest one of them, and jets for the ring. Gojinn is across the ring and sprints for him as he enters, WRATH OF HELL SPEAR RIGHT OUT OF HIS BOOTS!!!!

The man lies motionless save a few twitches!!! Gojinn covers him and its all over!!!

3!!! The match is over! The fans scream and cheer! My god! My god! The two men from earlier make their way back to the ring for revenge!! Gojinn climbs up, and attempts to back away, as both men surround the ring... The King is in trouble now…

They stall long enough for the kid who’d been practically killed by steel steps to get up, holding his head in agony as he covered a third side. Gojinn booted the fourth man, and while he did, they stormed the ring. Gojinn dodged one, and launched him into the corner, before clotheslining another, and completely ducking the third one, to spin him around and drop him with a Spin Out!!!

He climbs back up, and gets a running knee to the skull, that practically knocks him out again. The two men left pick him up and attempt to suplex him, and hit it nicely, and Gojinn’s apparent concussion sure as hell isn’t feeling better, as he’s barely able to keep his eyes open or tell where he is now. He gets lifted to his feet, and out marital artist from before climbs the turnbuckle! The other rookie sets Gojinn over his knee, and it looks like they’re gonna kill the King right here! Gojinn rolls out of the way and lets the jumper fall to his backside, and pulls the other kid from the ring, throwing him to the barricade!! He reaches over into the crowd and grabs a chair, folding it!! His rookie turns around, and Gojinn BLASTS HIM WITH THE CHAIR!!!

The kid flies over the rail, and Gojinn climbs back into the ring, grabbing his high flyer up off the mat! He throws the chair down and grabs him by the throat with both hands!! He lifts him high, and choke slams him down with both hands on the chair!!! He roars and turns, catching the biggest man again! He was sneaking up!! He grabs him and knees him in the gut, holding him on his knees above the chair now!!! Will he do it?! Will he practically kill the man?! NO HE STANDS HIM UP, AND KICKS HIS JEWELS UP INTO HIS THROAT!!!

He turns and grabs the ropes again, falling to his knees. His eyes go wide and blink a few times, as he rolls out, and slowly travels to the back with the aid of some medics… The fans are bewildered!! Only several hours to go and then he’s got to fight for his title against a real superstar…..

[End scene]
