Cleaning
After April's little urge incident and then Deadblood's attack with that SWAT team he somehow managed to get to work for him, my mansion is a mess. Corpses litter the rooms. Bloodstains are in places I never expected them to be. And thanks to DB and his friends, there's numerous broken windows, although I suppose I have to take the blame for one of the windows, not that it really made a difference at the time that I broke it. I guess that at least most of the mess is on the first floor.
Knowing that I can't clean up everything with four servants who are on the verge of having nervous breakdowns, a knocked out woman who may or may not wake up ready to create some more corpses, and myself, I end up calling the one person I know who may know some other people that can help me out: Wang.
When Wang arrives at my mansion a short while later, he's completely taken aback by the state of the place.
Wang: "...What the fuck happened here?"
"A party. Can you help me or not?"
Wang: "Yeah, I can, but it's going to cost you..."
"Money's no object."
Wang: "Well, I know a guy who can get those stains out for you. And I can probably get you a pretty good deal on new windows. As for the bodies..."
"I'll take care of the bodies."
Wang: "Right..."
Wang then took out a phone and began making calls to his contacts who could help me. I however began planning out how I'd dispose of the bodies. It was going to be pretty easy though I thought, since as Wang informed me when he arrived, there's a SWAT van parked in front of my mansion. Or to be more precise, the SWAT van the SWAT team I recently slaughtered most likely arrived in that Deadblood decided to leave behind for whatever reason.
Deadblood...
He was a whole other mess that needed to be cleaned up. I'd have to worry about him at a later time though.
Going outside through my mansion's front door, I head towards the street where the SWAT van's parked. I'm afraid that I might have to hotwire it, but I discover that they kindly left their keys in the ignition for me instead. Starting the engine, I then proceed to drive the vehicle up my mansion's driveway and park around the back of the mansion so I can work without any passersby in the street seeing what I plan on doing.
Opening up the back of the SWAT van, I start dragging bodies out of the back of house and I stuff them into the back area of the vehicle. It's a tight fit, but eventually, I manage to get them all inside. Then, I go into my large garage where I keep my cars and collect two cans of gasoline. This won't be the most efficient way I've disposed of bodies before, but it should be good enough in this case. No one should be able to pin their deaths on me, unless DB comes forward about the whole situation, which I doubt he will. The fact that more cops haven't arrived at my mansion by now further assures me that no one else knew what DB was planning on doing.
Getting one of my servants to follow me in one of my cars so I have a way to get back home, I drive the SWAT van out to a field several miles away from my mansion. Once there, I start pouring the cans of gasoline over the bodies and once they're empty, I leave the cans with the bodies to burn up with them. Then, after wiping down everything on the vehicle that I might've touched with my hands, I take out a cigarette and my lighter. Lighting the cigarette, I smoke it for a moment, before tossing it onto the pile of bodies, the gasoline instantly igniting and engulfing the entire rear of the SWAT van with flames. Kicking the rear doors shut, I leave the fire to burn its course.
As long as everything goes as planned, when the van and the bodies are discovered, there should be very little left. Since it's at night and somewhat away from civilization, I doubt anyone will see the black smoke that's begun to seep out of the van and the light of the fire itself probably won't be seen since it's inside the van.
When I get back home, it's well past midnight. Wang and the men he called up have already left, having been paid for their services by one of my other servants. They appeared to have done a good job with cleaning everything up. The only thing not taken care of are the broken windows, which have plastic sheeting covering them up for now, but I find a note from Wang telling me that a guy will be by the next day to replace them.
Exhausted, I decide that it's time to go to sleep. I start going upstairs to my bedroom, but then I remember that April's in my bed, so I instead go to the living room to sleep on the sofa. When I enter the room though, I find April sitting on the sofa, wide awake. Hearing my footsteps, she turns around to look at me.
April: "Red..."
She stands up and takes several steps towards me. At least she seems to be back to normal.
April: "I'm so sorry about what happened...I'll understand if you want me to leave..."
She looks down at the floor and is on the verge of tears.
"No, it's okay, really. I want you to stay."
At these words, she looks back up at me, several tears now running down her face.
April: "Are you sure...?"
"Yes, I'm sure. As I said before, you're welcome to stay here as long as you'd like. I knew what I was getting myself in to when I decided to help you and I'm not about to back out now."
She seems to not know what to say to that, but then, she runs over to me and hugs me.
April: "Thank you so much, Red."
Kissing me on the cheek, she then walks away, heading in the direction of her own room. With her out of my bed now, I decide to go to my bedroom as I'd originally intended, hoping I don't wake up to another slit throat or to find the last of my servants dead.
