The figure dodged around the corner and sat down in the dark corner booth. The waiter took an order, relayed it to the barman and then whisked the glass to the dark table. He made sure he didn't have to go there again by looking as rushed off his feet as he could.
Fifteen minutes later another figure appeared even though no one actually saw them arrive but it wasn't long before the two figures were deep in conversation.

Charon arrived home with a large rucksack and a briefcase, she went straight into the study and dumped it all on the desk, switching the lamp on as she shrugged her jacket off. She pulled her cell phone from her pocket and stabbed a string of numbers in rapidly. Few words were exchanged before she erased everything on the cell. She pulled manilla files from the rucksack, each file was stuffed full of papers and then dialled in two separate numbers on the combination locks on the briefcase. She flicked the catches open and inside sat six vials - 3 limelight and 3 crimsonlight.

She closed the briefcase, pushed it to one side and turned her attention to the files. The popping noise alerted her to the presence of the senior Shadow Demon.

"YOU GOT IT?"

Charon pointed at the briefcase.

"There's only 3 of each so your scientists will have to go easy, if you need more its going to be bloody difficult."

The figure nodded, checked the clasps and then picked up the case.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING NOW?"

Charon rubbed her face in her hands and then sighed.

"Its a private project, nothing to concern yourself about or your future war with Lillith."

The figure nodded and disappeared.
