Charon knew she would have to visit him sooner or later but she also knew he didn't like the fact that she was working with the Shadow Realm. Then reality was, she wasn't keen on it either but Lillith and Markus needed to be stopped and to do that sometimes you had to make a deal with the devil.

She arrived at Spades on her custom sports motorcycle, she parked it and climbed off, removing her crash helmet as she did. The manor was in darkness as usual, she hung the helemt from the handlebars and took off her gloves. She unzipped her leather jacket as she walked up to the front door, gloves in her left hand, she knocked the door hard.

She knew he wouldn't answer the door so she simply opened it up and strolled in. He knew she was there and she knew that. She stood in the hallway, slammed the front door and hollered.

"OI!! SPADE!! WE NEED TO TALK.....NOW!!"

She heard floorboards sqeaking somewhere upstairs.

"I KNOW YOU'RE UP THERE DAD, YOU NEED TO TALK TO ME, I KNOW ABOUT MARKUS!"

Spade appeared at the top of the staircase and stared at her as though he were annoyed.

"There's no need to shout, I'm not deaf."

He strode down the stairs and straight into the library. She followed him and sat down opposite him.

"What do you want Charon?"

She looked him up and down.

"I know Markus visited you earlier today and tried frightening you into doing something stupid."

Spade glared at her.

"How the hell do you find these things out?!"

She shrugged.

"Lucky I guess. So, the problem is you're dying, you're scared, I get that but remember one thing, I can't die. So, whatever Markus said to you, its complete bullshit. He's trying to force you into making a stupid mistake, that means something we've done has made them move earlier than they wanted. I'm guessing its something to do with the freaky energy thing. So?"

She stared expectantly at Spade.
