Within Castle Walls
Meanwhile....
Within the Unholy inner corridors of Castle Mortis... there sat, Lord Mortious on his throne of darkness- contemplating his next move towards acquiring Charon Death. When suddenly- an unexpected visitor entered the room.... It was F'ein Dacor.... the President of EVA Corp who took refuge after the destruction of Lilith's Hive. Lord Mortious noticed F'eins presence and allowed for him to approach his platform.
F'ein, like always, characteristically bowed in front of Mortious and then progressed to provide an update about Mortis' mother.....
F'ein Dacor: M'Lord. The process has been slow and methodical but nonetheless, we are making progress and are right on time.
Mortious: Gooooddd... VERY Good. The Queen's condition? How is it.
F'ein Dacor: M'Lord. Perfect as always.
Mortious: Really? Then what is taking so long for her soul to be completely transcribed into her body?.. that is not my idea of remaining on time!
F'ein Dacor: It's um. Markus sir, he's not strong enough... yet. It was unnatural that Lilith's body was deposited here... it was because of his power that we were able to save her at all....
Mortious rose from his throne swiftly and pointed right at F'ein. Mortious: AND YOU DARE SAY THAT IS RESULTS!!! IT'S BEEN MONTHS!!!! I GROW IMPATIENT AT THE MINUTE WHILE I KNOW THAT CHARON IS UP TO SOMETHING.... I CAN FEEEEEEEELL IT!!! We must step up things up....
bows slightly F'ein Dacor: Mortis please, We are already acting too quickly. Charon Death must have realized that fact already..... M'lord if it is within your grace and grand wisdom, Crimson must be "harnessed." With Crimson's life force we can open the doorway into the Dreamscape and abstract Lilith's soul. May I remind you, only a Death family member who is related to Dalkiel and can survive the limelight procedure has such an ability.
Mortious rubbed his chin and nodded to F'ein to begin phase 2... however, at that very moment- a guard came rushing inside of the throne room.
Guard: M'lord, security has been compromised. Reports have indicated that Zedek has been seen in the castle-town..... your orders?
Grins devilishly Mortious: Hmm. Perhaps a chance to get even with that buffoon. F'ein [he nodded] you know what to do.
