TF: ?????????
Gojinn pulled his katana and leapt down from his hiding place, smashing it to the stone floor to create a shower of sparks. The figure leapt back, and Gojinn unleashed two fireballs that lit the huge candle chandeliers, and the room was suddenly cleansed of the darkness that had settled upon it. Gojinn stood up straight and grinned. The figure stared a hole in him from the distance. Gojinn watched it come into the light, and flick a few of strands of hair that were dangling in front of two very cold eyes, away.
It was Serin.
Gojinn held the katana tight, and the blade he outstretched to the side of him, unsure of whether he would truly need it to attack soon. Serin’s grin of absolute cockiness infuriated him. He placed a hand in his right pocket, and brushed his hair back with his left hand. Gojinn slowly side stepped to the red carpet, rolled from the door to the fireplace. Serin had stood in the doorway, and now there was something in between him and the fireplace he desired to go to. Gojinn pointed to Serin, and was dead serious, with the words he chose.
You’re not going to get it.
“What’s the matter Gojinn? Is it the fact that I’m not your puppet anymore? Is that what’s bothered you so much?”
You were never my puppet Serin! Why don’t you get that!?
“You still don’t get it. I know you only used me to get to Spade. You only used me to try to kill him.”
That’s not true! I could do that myself! Who SAVED you?!
“For your own benefit!”
Serin removed his hand from his pocket, and swung his left hand at the ground, creating a straight line projectile that erupted right into Gojinn, tossing him through the air.
He landed and rolled several times, but quickly jumped up to his feet, swinging the katana around. Serin glared at him and Gojinn shot a telekinetic energy at him, catching him in the chest and launching him through the air. Serin caught himself and flipped over, landing with ease. Gojinn grunted. This wouldn’t be easy. Then Gojinn caught Serin’s eye, a look of curiosity.
You….don’t know where it is… do you?!
“It’s here, and I’ll tear this place apart stone by stone if I have to!!!!!”
Gojinn grinned wildly. He’d come all this way, and he didn’t know where it was!! Serin glared, knowing exactly why it was that Gojinn was so smug right now. The two knew what the object was, and currently Gojinn was the only one who knew… and that’s when Serin grinned, and Gojinn suddenly got serious, taking a defensive stance. Serin would pry the information from his mind if need be.
“If you tell me now, I’ll make sure it doesn’t hurt. But if you don’t, you know it’s gonna hurt. You’ve felt it before.”
You’ll never find it!!!
Without warning, Serin burst across the carpet, and slammed his hand to the ground just in front of Gojinn, launching him through the air with another explosive projectile blast.
Gojinn flew and collided hard with the picture above the fireplace, knocking it from it’s hanging space. Serin noticed that the collision had caused Gojinn to rip through the painting, and destroy a portion of brick on the fireplace. It was a false wall, and behind it glowed something dark… something evil…
“It lives.”
No way!
“Hahahaha! Fool! It’s mine!”
NEVER!
Gojinn leapt to his feet and slashed with his sword, quickly pulling his gun from the back of his pants and firing off two shots. Serin easily ducked the sword and dove to the side to avoid the gunshots. He was back up as Gojinn sliced back down, and with great ease and grace he leapt over the blade, coming down on it hard enough to knock it from his opponents hand. Gojinn aimed the gun at Serins face, but a snap of his foe’s fingers brought an explosive projectile that sent the desert eagle flying. Gojinn was disarmed.
“The Heart of Darkness.”
You can’t do this!
“It’s far too late for words! It’s mine!”
Another explosive projectile destroyed what was left of the brick wall. A small rectangular opening showed a glass casing around a heart, held on a small platform within it. Gojinn felt a cold darkness overtake him, as he watched the disembodied heart beat within the case. Serin walked toward it like a zombie, drawn by the evil. Gojinn knew what he had to do…
SERIN!!!
“What? NO! DON’T!”
Gojinn lifted the sword, and with his telekinetic energy, shot it like an arrow, straight for the heart…
[To be concluded?]
