It’s great to be a champion once again. (Open challenge for Inferno Crisis)

“Immortally Insane” started playing throughout arena, but the lights didn’t go out and there was no fire exploding up around the edges of the stage, ramp, or out of the tops of the turnbuckle posts. Red walked out from the backstage and headed towards the ring, receiving a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd, the newly won Dual Core title slung over one of his shoulders. He was wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and boots, all black, the t-shirt with his spider logo across the front of it. He also had on a pair of sunglasses and his black hair was tied back, slightly shorter than it had been the last time the fans saw him; he had gotten it cut since then. As he climbed into the ring, the music faded away.

Stop

Getting a microphone from a ring technician, Red waited a moment for the crowd to quiet down before he began speaking.

“At MADCWE, not only did I win this Dual Core title, I also defeated the CW’s current Undisputed champion: Darkspade! It’s only too bad that your title wasn’t on the line, Spade.

Red paused for a few seconds before continuing.

“That’s okay though, because beating you has given me a guaranteed future shot at the Undisputed title! But don’t worry, I’m not out here to collect on that shot or anything. Tonight, I’m out here to discuss this title-”

Red raised his Dual Core title high into the air with his free arm.

“-or at least the shot at it I’m going to give to anyone who wants it in a match at Inferno Crisis! Now, since the event is going to take place on Halloween, I think that the match type should be something special…a match that goes along with the theme of the holiday…one of my favorite kinds of matches…A GRAVEYARD MATCH!”

The entire crowd cheered at the announcement of Red’s challenge for his Dual Core title and the type of match he would defend the belt it. He lowered the mic and his arm that was holding the title, waiting along with the fans to see who, if anyone, would come out and accept his challenge.
