The scene opens at a CWE House Show Event. The ring is currently empty, and the half full arena is anticipating the next match between up and coming future CWE stars.
All of a sudden, the lights go out, before an eary blue light decends on the arena. The crowd go ballistic, as this may confirm the rumours. "Is Ice back in the game? And will it be with the CWE?"
Smoke begins to bellow near to the entrance ramp, before Burn My Light by Mercy Drive blasts out over the PA. The crowd are on their feet as Ice appears at the top of the ramp. He looks to have lost none of the physique that made him the household name he is in the Wrestling Industry.
As he walks towards the ring, the half full crowd easily make up for the other half by making a noise to rival anything you could hear.
Ice enters the ring and requests a mic.
"IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!!"
The crowd respond to this by beginning a chant of ICE, ICE, ICE.
"No, but really.....Thankyou."
"Thank you for all the cards, for all the wishes, and for all the come back soon signs i could see in every federation, in every arena, up and down the country."
"For the past three years, i returned to the UK, i came back......Then, back on a plane again, and again, and again. From the UK to America. America to Canada, and so-on and so-on. Never really knowing who i was, never really knowing what to do. I thought i was never going to see this again. But here i am, standing in the middle of this ring, back in the game i knew i always belonged to."
"The CWE is at the top of it's category. The best of the best, the fed of all feds......So, what was missing from the CWE for all this time?."
Ice then lifts the mic to his lips, but the crowd begin to chant his name once more. Ice relaxes the mic, smiles and looks around the arena for a few seconds.
"THE CHAMPION OF ALL CHAMPIONS...............ICE"
"That is what was missing. The guys in the back went on their daily routine. Working out, getting in shape. Then it came to show time. They would put on a show, be the best they could possibly be, and put on a show they thought would make you guys happy......But what they really did not know, is that you could never be 100% happy......Not while Ice was away from the game, not while the best athlete the World has ever seen was sat at home wilting his life away."
"What about the champions of the CWE?......How could they possibly be happy?......Fine, you go on thinking about how you are at the top of your game, how you are the World Champion of the CWE.......But then, it hits you.....How can i be a World Champion, when i never took my place in the middle of the ring, along side the greatest superstar to ever grace any ring................ICE!!"
With that, the crowd come to their feet once more, and began again, a chant of ICE, ICE, ICE.
"To all of the CWE......Ice is back in town......The greatest, the bravest, and the damn well hardest superstar the World has ever seen comes to the CWE........Nobody can sleep sound, everybody can feel the nervous feeling that you all feel now in the pit of your stomach. Ice returns to the squared circle, and the CWE is the place it will all occur.............I will become a World champion once again, it's in my blood, and it is in the history books for all to see."
"Ice is back..........
Ice then lifts the mic slowly to his lips. The crowd no what is coming, and chant back simultanuesly.
"UNTIL HELL FREEZES OVER!!"
With that Burn My Light plays again, as Ice leaves Ringside with the crowd on their feet.
