Well the main reason for the off-season is that several players like Dylan and Drkside are inactive because of real life and that cut our roster down dramatically. At that point there was not enough players to develop an event. The off-season is temporary until we can build the roster back up- but once it is built up we can resume normal events. Once we do get to posting official events- our events have a lifespan of 2-3 weeks long because we allow the players to go all out on them.

However, for players who prefer quicker events we have another forum called "Infiltrate" which is a forum that allows for the players to setup their own matches at anytime- there are some stipulations to setting up an event. There is also an Infiltrate Championship which acts at the 24/7 hardcore title but with some additional abilities tagged along with it. The current champion is Drkside (so you can see why we had to go on an off-season).

To start playing you spend most of your time writing your stories on the RP Board. The RP board (called NSA) is here http://events.creaturewrestling.com/forum/index.php?action=main&forumid=1

The reason we call the rp board "NSA" (stands for non-stop-adrenaline) is to help players with establishing a background story and to realize that your roleplays can take place backstage etc.. during a taped/reality show format.

Advanced players extend beyond that and post stories about their character's lives and also post extensive scenes/sagas involving many other players/characters.

--------------------

So to sum it all up- you start by posting stories on the NSA board- & try and get ppl to get involved in them. Stories can be about things you do outside of the wrestling ring, backstage and even in-stage like challenges. Best advice is to contact players using the ooc board or other means like email to develop an outline to play by.

From the stories you do and interactions develops your feuds... which in turn... develops your angles and then your matches. When we have an official event, a match call will be posted where you write down what match you would like to do and with whom. The booker then sets up the event based on the match call. You post your entrances first to the event- then you take turns posting to the event with your opponent(s). An match can go on indefinitely- but the rule of thumb is before the 8th post into the match is when you rap it up--- the win outcome by default is determined by you and your opponent(s) (so that means you have to contact them somehow... this e-fed has many ways to do it)... OR if you cannot determine a winner.. you ask the officials to setup a vote.
