With the Undisputed Champion of this sport laying face first on the mat, unconscious, The Unholy One stood above his fallen... looming over him... his prey. The fans were standing and the anticipation was over the roof... you can feel it.... the coming of a new Champion!!! But as Darkspade reached down to pick Branden up for the Final Guidance---
A FIERY INFERNO LIKE NO OTHER IGNITED FROM THE STAGE!! this sent Darkspade dropping Branden to the canvas and react harshly at the stage.... suddenly, as Spade turns to pick Branden up again... a flash of lightning struck through the mesh of the cage and at the very spot Spade was standing!! The Unholy One shot off several feet from the electruction and was out cold on the mat.... with the entire arena in suspense and confusion... everything became clear as Lord Mortis slithered from underneath the apron with a sledge hammer ready for the kill!!!
Branden was slowly trying to rise at this point but Mortis was in the ring and ready-- Branden turns around with Mortismere lunging toward him with the weapon- but in a dramatic turn of events- Branden sidesteps out of the way, in the nick of time and drop kicks Mortismere in his chest. The sledge fell to the canvas but before Branden could capitalize- Mortismere rebounded from the ropes with a charging head butt sending the Champion catapulting into one of the turnbuckles!!! Mortismere was fuming and seething with anger... he picks up the sledge and grins devilishly at Branden before he swings the sledge but instead of driving it down Branden's throat--- Mortismere nearly decapitates a rising Darkspade who Mortismere knew was getting ready to retaliate!!!! Darkspade flipped in mid air and sunk to the canvas out cold.... All Branden could do was watch in shock.... and Mortismere, who stood there staring at Branden gives off a look that explained it all..... "Mortismere was out here for one thing, to make sure that Branden won this match........"
Before Branden Harvey could stop Mortismere, the Lord Evil himself disappeared in dark cloud of Unholy Darkness and vanished from the scene of the crime......
