Charon automatically slammed her back against the stone walls of the throne room trying to get the wretched babeh off and since she couldn't reach round to grab it, it was the first thing she thought of doing but the horrid little thing just wouldn't let go! Seer was hopping up and down with glee until the nail gun came out. He screeched and ran at Charon, who shot him several times and causing him to stagger backwards still screeching.

Charon turned the nail gun in on herself, she knew it would hurt but it was either her or the babeh and the babeh was pure evil. She paused momentarily as Seer started shambling toward her, nails still sticking out of his chest and legs and before he could reach her, she pulled the trigger. The red hot nails pierced her skin, she gritted her teeth, she felt the nails pass out the other side of her body and hit something a little more solid. An unearthly scream came from behind her and as she turned to look she saw the babeh slither off, nails sticking out of it's torso.

Seer barrelled into her sending her staggering into the wall, she sagged down to the floor holding her hand over the new injury and swore loudly....
