The lights dropped and plunged the entire arena into darkness, several expletives could be heard coming from Chanes microphone and the announce table was already in disarray as Michael Cole tried to hide under the table, knocking everything flying. Lighters began to flick on all through the arena so fans could see one another and whispers started all through the building. Backstage, technicians desperately pulled plugs, pushed buttons and stabbed frantically at electrical boards to try and get at least the emergency lighting on.

Back in the arena the temperature dropped suddenly and as people talked and whispered their breath froze in midair creating an eerie cloud. It drifted oddly in the flickering glow from people's lighters as an ear splitting screeching noise began to be emitted from the sound system in the arena. Back on the announce table Jim Ross was wrestling cables and finally managed to grab a mic, he wasn't sure if the cameras were picking up anything, or if any sound at all was being transmitted but he plugged away nonetheless.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Charons music is playing over the top of this terrible screeching but we can't see her, in fact, we can't see anything! Michael Cole get out from underneath that darned table, dammit man! Leave my darned leg alone!"

Next came a sensory overload in every sense of the word. A sudden loud explosion shattered every other sound along with a blinding flash of light. Once everyone had adjusted, every set of eyes were on the figure standing right behind Chane, a figure who was dressed completely in black, a figure who was grinning broadly flanked by both Richard and Alex Arcane.

Charon lifted her head, she was far paler than she had been before the attack by Kizmat and Darkspade and now she lifted her arm and tapped Chane on the shoulder. Chane reacted as though he'd been electrocuted, spinning round and holding his hand over his heart all at the same time. Charon grinned more broadly than before but said nothing, instead leaving Chane to raise the microphone to his lips and as he went to speak was interrupted by Alex Arcane who was a little quicker at getting the mic to his face.

"Whoa there Chaney boy!"

He waved his hand in front of Chanes face as though he were making some sort of point, a point that only he obviously knew and only him. Chane looked confused now as did everyone else.

"You have NO authority here!"

Before Chane could protest, Richard Arcane stepped forward with a huge sheaf of papers and thrust them into Chanes hands. Alex smiled like a shark.

"You may want to read the top paper before you respond!"

Charon had barely moved but her eyes darted quickly round the arena before returning to the huge pile of papers Chane now held.
