Deadblood was caught off-guard by that question. This was a discussion he'd certainly never expected to have with Alexander. At first, he really didn't even know what to say. Playing matchmaker for Alex was something he didn't care to do at all. Whether he had one girlfriend or five, Deadblood couldn't care less.
Finally though, adjusting his grip on the briefcase, he said, "I don't really know if she's seeing anyone. Can I give you some advice though?" Alex nodded, so Deadblood continued with, "I don't really think you're her type. Believe me, I've spent enough time with her to know what she likes and doesn't like. I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't have anything to offer that she would like."
It was difficult to say exactly what the look on Alexander's face said about his reaction to Deadblood's words, but to call it let down seemed a little light.
Placing his free hand on Alex's shoulder, Deadblood then said, "Look at it this way: you're the promoter of CW. You'd have to go pretty far away to find someone that hasn't heard your name before. Am I right?" Alex again nodded and Deadblood added, "I bet you could have three girls named Sheri in your bed by the end of today if you really wanted to, all of them a lot more into you than Sheri Stull would be.
Removing his hand from Alexander's shoulder, Deadblood then turned back around and headed for the meeting room's doors, titles and briefcase in hand.
In the doorway, he paused and turned back once more, this time to say, "I'll see you around." Patting the briefcase with his free hand, then added, "And don't worry. Ten days from now, you'll know who my next opponent is and we can both learn more about these two title belts."
