I think my weapons beat a buzz saw and anything else you might have.
As the smoke cleared from the grenade blast, CP-ZERO could see that it had again missed its targets. The pool area was now completely empty of hotel guests, except for the ones who had been cut down by the mini-gun's bullets and were now dead on the ground. It started to move towards the doorway leading back into the hotel itself when there was a sound in the now blood-filled swimming pool behind it.
One hand reached up to the edge of the pool closest to CP-ZERO, followed by a second hand, and then the masked man slowly dragged himself out and rose to his feet. Shards of glass, large and small, were embedded all over the front of his body. For a moment, he simply stood there, the briefcase still in one hand, as red water dripped from his body, and then the pieces of glass began to pop out of his flesh, falling to the concrete, some of the larger pieces breaking further. His wounds were healing and when the last one sealed up, he adjusted his mask.
By this point, CP-ZERO had turned back around to see what was going on and it simply watched the masked man. He was unsure if it recognized him since he had a different mask now. Not that it really mattered. The masked man was in no mood to deal with CP-ZERO any further and with its armor severely damaged, exposing its human form, he planned to end the cyborg once and for all.
"I like the new arm. Too bad you're not going to have the opportunity to use it any further, motherfucker." At that, the masked man rushed forward, dropping the briefcase to draw his sword, swinging it into the upper part of CP-ZERO's left arm, easily slicing through the lightweight exoskeleton, but not getting much further!!!!!
CP-ZERO didn't even drop its grenade launcher, the katana blade barely halfway into the thick arm muscle!!!!!!!! Pulling out his Beretta while keeping one hand on the sword handle, the masked man began to fire shots into CP-ZERO's face, the bullets ricocheting off of the armor that was still in place there, leaving dents, and realizing how ineffective that was, he then began firing the gun into its exposed chest!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, much like when Deadblood shot CP-ZERO in the back moments before, it seemed to not notice. That was when the masked man decided to let go of both weapons and began to deliver punch after telekinetically charged punch into that magnetically sealed, metal door on its chest that covered the exoskeleton's power cell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"I'll rip your heart out, you fucking freak!" the masked man shouted as he continued punching, leaving large dents in the small door, though not yet breaking it open!!!!!!!!!
The masked man didn't get the chance to make good on his promise however because CP-ZERO decided at that moment to show that it was still quite powerful even with flesh that was starting to rot and partially destroyed armor!!! Swinging its left arm, the still metal-covered, large fist holding the grenade launcher collided with the side of the masked man's head, the sound of the thick metal against his skull a sickening one, the blow sending him flying back hard into the wrought iron fence that surrounded the pool area, falling forward onto the concrete, fresh blood dripping from the back of his head!!!!!!!!!!!!
Katana still embedded in his arm, CP-ZERO turned back around and marched into the hotel, searching for any sign of of its two targets. More guests ran to hide in their rooms or fled the hotel altogether. If they hadn't already heard the gunshots and explosions, the mere sight of its weapons were enough to get them out of the way. It quickly discovered a trail Deadblood and Sheri left behind: pool water that was still dripping from clothes. The water led not to a door leading out of the hotel but to a stairwell, the trail going down. Before CP-ZERO could begin making its way down the steps though, a hand grabbed onto the handle of the katana.
"I'll take that back now!" The masked man ripped the katana free from CP-ZERO's arm, the waxy flesh sloughing some around the wound!!!
Sheathing his sword, the briefcase in his other hand again, the masked man proceeded to deliver a dropkick to CP-ZERO's back before it could turn around, causing it to tumble over the railing and fall down the stairs with a loud crash!!!!!!!!! The masked man was quick to dive back out of the stairwell though when he heard the grenade launcher fire, an explosion going off just a couple seconds later, the entire landing of that floor in the stairwell coming crashing down on top of CP-ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"You're welcome, Thunder," the masked man said, standing in the doorway of the stairwell now, staring down at the rubble as the dust settled.
Ending CP-ZERO was an unintended favor for Deadblood. The masked man wanted to kill Deadblood and Sheri himself and CP-ZERO just kept getting in the way.
Hopping down onto the rubble, the masked man cautiously made his way down the stairs, ending up at a door. Pushing open the door, he found himself in a hallway with several other doors connected to it. He could see more of the water trail that CP-ZERO had been following, but it was getting thinner.
"Where are you, Thunder?" The masked man carefully followed the drops of water until they stopped pretty much entirely, leaving just three doors that they probably went through.
He tried the door closest to him. Finding it locked, he used his telekinesis to quickly force the door open and flicked on the room's light. It was just a storage closet and a quick scan of the room with his eyes told him that they definitely weren't hiding in there.
He next moved to the second door, but before he could try it, a hotel employee came out of the third door and upon seeing him, said, "What the hell is it with you guests today? You aren't supposed to be down here! I'm calling the police."
"I am the police," the masked man said, quick to flash the badge on his belt. "Is it a man and a woman who are in there? I'm looking for them."
The employee nodded and then said, "We have all of our freezers and a food pantry in there for the hotel's kitchen. I don't know what they're doing in there, but they need to get out of there now."
"Thank you, I'll take care of it." The employee only watched as the masked man opened the door and disappeared into the food storage area.
There was no immediate sign of either Deadblood or Sheri, but the masked man quickly found out where they were when one of the freezers came flying across the floor at him, hitting him full on, knocking the briefcase right out of his hands and crushing him against the cinder block wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The two of them had been waiting and had combined their powers to launch the heavy freezer.
"Shit, it's not the robot," Sheri said, sighing.
"... Really? You're still going to call it a robot?" Deadblood shook his head in disbelief and then added, "At least one of them is taken care of now. I don't think he'll be getting up from that anytime soon."
"He survived me blowing his brains out. How long do you really think that freezer's going to keep him down?" Sheri made a good point, but Deadblood didn't acknowledge it with any kind of answer.
Walking over to the fallen briefcase, Deadblood picked it up and instead said, "Son of a bitch thought he could kill me for my titles and use the contract how he saw fit, I guess."
Sheri got no chance to respond to that however because they suddenly heard the employee in the hallway yelling followed by a scream that was silenced by the rapid shots of a mini-gun!!!!!!!!!
"Fuck, hide!" Deadblood ran towards Sheri and both ducked down just as CP-ZERO entered the room.
More of CP-ZERO's armor was broken off now and it no longer was carrying its grenade launcher. Part of the exoskeleton was further damaged and it now walked with a noticeable limp, though who knew if that was because of the exoskeleton's damage or some sort of internal injury to its leg. Spots of its flesh had peeled off too, but it showed no signs of being ready to just give up on its hunt.
Before CP-ZERO could begin its own search of the room though, another freezer came flying!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, Deadblood and Sheri's aim was off this time and the freezer crashed harmlessly into the wall!!! This was enough for CP-ZERO to fire its mini-gun more, bullets sailing all through the room, bouncing off of the freezers and smashing into the walls!!!!!!!!!!!! But before it could even finish firing, the freezer previously used to hit the masked man came flying away from the wall, striking CP-ZERO and smashing it into another wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stepping forward and cracking his neck, the masked man then used his powers to throw the freezer away from the wall and throw CP-ZERO to floor, only to proceed to smash the freezer on top of it several times, crushing it against the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leaving the freezer on top of it afterward, fluid from the exoskeleton leaking out from underneath the now bent up metal freezer, the masked man approached where he thought Deadblood and Sheri were, only to find a grate pried up from the floor, leading down into the sewers.
"Your time's running out fast, Thunder," the masked man said before climbing down through the grate after them.
Soon after he continued his chase though, the freezer on top of CP-ZERO began to quiver...
