Sheri and Deadblood quickly and quietly ran along the winding sewers, desperately trying to find a continuous passage that wasn’t blocked by a full grate. Their almost silent footsteps refused to give them away just yet, but if they couldn’t navigate faster, their masked attacker would be on them in no time. “Fuck. We need to get out of this death trap.” Sheri scoffed and slugged him on the arm. “Nice hiding spot, moron!” DB sighed, shaking his head as he continued on. They could hear a metallic slam echo from the distance. “Time’s up.” Another bang. “Do you think it’s the robot?” She smirked, still trailing DB, who she could almost sense wanted to scream. Before he could respond, a voice echoed from down the passages, speaking slowly and rhythmically.....

“I’ll be comin’ around the mountain when I come.....” Deadblood froze for a second, before turning over his shoulder to glance at Sheri. “Worse.” He put his finger to his lips, the two agreeing to move silently now that they had company. “I’ll be comin’ around the mountain when I come!” Sheri seemed chilled by the comedic voice echoing through the dark, wet, sewer tunnels. “I’ll be blowin’ your fuckin’ head off, I’ll be stabbin’ your fuckin’ eyes out, I’ll be chokin’ ya ta deaaaaaath, when I comeeeeeee!”

On the other end of the tunnel, Gojinn arrogantly slapped his feet down with each step along the edge of the sewer, a sadistic grin underneath that mask. He whistled, approaching each steel grate, before flicking his wrist at them, sending them bent and destroyed to the side as they pulled themselves from their concrete holdings. Gojinn started laughing uncontrollably. “Ohhhhhh THUUUUUNNNNNNNDDDDDDDEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!” Deadblood kept his focus on escape, Sheri in tow.

“Sheri, listen up.” Gojinn stopped moving and waited for any sign of reaction. “You’ve got a pass. Right now. Call out to me. I’ll spare you, kill him, wreck that scrap metal back there and you can just ..... disappear.” He crossed his arms, awaiting the inevitable. She knew what she was up against. Gojinn was far too pleased with himself as he crossed his arms and waited still. “I know you’re both still down here. Sheri, what’s it going to be: Life or death? It’s as easy as that! He can’t protect you! You can’t seriously think YOU ALONE could survive myself or that terrible Transformer back there, right?! RIGHT?! MAKE A CHOICE OR I START TEARING DOWN WALLS UNTIL I FIND YOU AND I KILL YOU BOTH ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!”

Gojinn breathed heavily, trying to calm himself now..... He heard no response immediately......

She hesitated at first, but in her heart she knew she couldn’t trust someone who had tried to kill her multiple times already. Her brief pause had startled Deadblood, who was immediately thrown at how quickly she would have sold him out. The two shake it off as they realize what’s at stake and continue to move for a few more feet when an explosion echoes loudly from far behind them.

Gojinn whipped around, furious. “YOU AGAIN?! ENOUGH!”

Ahead, Sheri and Deadblood heard the commotion and knew what it meant, CP Zero had dropped in on their hiding spot as well. The sewer system was only going to last so long... “We need to go. Now.”
