Scene At Castle Mortis

Meanwhile
Within the walls of Castle Mortis, the Caput Mortems continued to wage a relentless guard on the grounds per Kizmat's request. Even at the pitch of darkness, the courtyard and immense sectors of the Castle where lit up with huge spotlights. Barbed wire where strung everywhere - almost to the brink of obsessivity. It was plain as day why the place was overwhelmed with security.... Emperor Mortismere was paranoid that his power would be matched.... not just by King Gojinn but his own wife!

F'ein Dacor, the Archbishop of Mortismere's Unholy Religion and cousin of Kizmat, wanders the inner ward. He walks up a flight of winding stone stairs till he reached the entrance to the main bell tower. It was here, that Dacor's central system of operations was conducted.... He looked around and then he spoke Lithian infront of a serpent insignia that attached to a stone door. Immediately, the stone door slid down into a dark pit- revealing the stairs.

With a sly smile, F'ein Dacor walks up these stairs which ended at the topmost room. It was an empty room... hardly imaginable to be his center, but looks can most certainly be decieving. For we see a pentagram etched in the stone floor... it must have been there for ages, for it was dull and faded. F'ein Dacor removed his joyeuse and with a well calculate *swish* of his wrist- the thin blade of the sword struck the center of the pentagram. A light coursed through the markings and lit the room up with unholy energies that made your skin crawl. F'ein Dacor then walked forward and sat down in the middle of the pentagram and closed his eyes.... it was in an instant... that he was in a deep meditation. And eventually, as the bell tower struck it's hour... F'ein's form disappeared with the ending of the brilliant unholy light.
