Kali searched the weirdo's and took several small items from them and slipped them in her own pocket. She had her own agenda when it came to Eva Corp and it was best if Charon didn't know about it.

In the cellar Charon had slowly but surely made her way into consciousness again, Augustus was tapping furiously at a keyboard and it was obvious to Charon he was becoming more and more frustrated and angry. She quickly saw why. She watched in a detached manner as the weird scientists tried to get into the mansion, eventually she put a hand on Augustus' shoulder.

"Leave it. They'll get in anyway."

Augustus refused and continued in his effort to thwart them. Charon picked up her cell phone and sent an odd coded message to a number stored in her own memory rather than that of the phone's. A small message box popped up on the computer screen, she frowned.

"Thats interesting, it seems Kizmat has been in the technocracy HQ and stolen several terabytes of information. I wonder how he did that?"

She looked over at Kizmats lifeless body, he was still hooked up to monitors and drips. Her suspicions regarding Eva were growing by the second, especially when the security system sent an image through.

"Did they really think I'd leave all that info completely unguarded?"

She chuckled.

"Augustus, I have a new security system to be tested once these lard butts finally find a way in. By the way, why are we down here?"

Augustus sighed in defeat.

"Kali locked us in down here."

Charon frowned again.

"Yeah, I bet she did. I imagine the Shadow Realm have their own little plans regarding Eva."

She walked over to one of the bare walls and pressed her hand against it, a panel slid open and a small keypad was illuminated. She pushed a couple of buttons and another door opened at the rear of the complex. She looked at Augustus.

"Well? Do you think I'm going to stay here all day and miss ALL the fun?!"

He grabbed a laptop and jogged after her.
