Although Jones was concentrating on Richard, everyone else was shooting looks at Evangelion who sat stoically at the head of the table. Fein had no idea she was here, in fact, Fein had no idea that he no longer held full control of her. Moebius stood up now and addressed Evangelion.

"There was no need for you to come here today, why did you come?"

Evangelion stared levelly at him before standing herself.

"I have become the product of years of experimentation with creatures powers by EVAcorp. Its all very well telling people about the experimentation, they can go home and think about it, then they will forget about it and try to reason that maybe its not as bad as people say it is. The thing is that we maybe creatures of the night but many of us still think just like the humans we descended from. I felt that perhaps a more up close and personal demonstration might be more....memorable."

Moebius appeared transfixed by the silvery limelighted coloured skin and found himself touching her hand to see what it felt like...it was as cold as ice, he pulled his hand away suddenly as though chastising himself internally for being so childish.

"I apologise. I should have asked your permission to do that."

Evangelion merely shrugged as though it was no big deal to her. Jones was now paying full attention to Evangelion as well as Richard who looked ready to wet his pants in fear. It was Jones who spoke next.

"What sort of demonstration had you planned Evangelion?"

Moebius couldn't be sure but he thought he detected puzzlement in Jones face. Evangelion tilted her head and then looked directly at Richard.

"Let me show you."

Richard was already on his feet heading for the doors, he apparently had forgotten that they were locked but Evangelion simply stood up and in the blink of an eye was already in front of the doors as Richard arrived there. He pulled up suddenly, fear washed over his whole body and he thought he might throw up but before he could turn and run in the opposite direction Evangelion had him round the throat.

Her ice cold hand held him firmly round his neck, it was like being restrained by a metal ring and she showed no emotion as she slowly and effortlessly picked him up off the floor. Richard was now squealing like a spoiled child as Jones watched on as though he were watching an interesting science experiment in progress. Evangelion now spoke.

"I have full control over every aspect of my systems, I say systems as my limbs are no longer organic but cybernetic. Every bone in my body is now covered in a light but strong metallic compound which means its virtually impossible for me to break any bone which still remains in my organic body parts. My brain has been interfaced with the most sophisticated computer systems in the World and these are powered by the limelight. The limelight is an almost organic form of every creature power known to us. I have become a part of every creature of the night, I hear them whispering their last breaths every night as I have to shut down to rest my organic body parts. I hear their deaths, I hear their thoughts and yet despite it all I have remained relatively sane."

Richard was holding onto her arm for dear life and struggled harder when he heard the last few words.

"Let.me.go!"

Evangelion tilted her head as she watched him struggle.

"No. You are like an annoying bug that keeps biting people but they can't quite catch you with their fly swat. You knew about this experimentation didn't you? I know you did, so did Alex. Why don't you tell everyone who really shot Alex, Richard? Hmmm....I hear Alex fighting for his life just before I have to shut down each night. Do you want to hear the words he utters to me every single day? No?"

Jones interrupted now.

"Evengelion please could you put him down now I'd like to continue with this meeting?"

Evengelion's mouth twitched in the corners as though attempting a small smile.

"Of course."

She made a small movement but it had a huge effect. She sent Richard flying over the meeting table, he hit the wall behind his chair and thumped heavily to the carpeted floor. All those round the table were now looking at the semi-conscious Richard.
