The calculations were miniscule and the speed at which she moved was mind blowing. It was simply a case of one second Richard had a gun in his hand the next it was completely dismantled into its many components on the table in front of him the next. He stared at his hand then at the dismantled gun on the table then at Evangelion who was stood to his left side observing his reactions.

She then looked toward Jones, there appeared to be an imperceptible nod. Evangelion picked Richard up by the scruff of his neck and deposited him in the chair which Jones had assigned to him.

"I said sit Richard. Do you really think its a coincidence that Evangelion is present at this meeting?"

Evangelion now looked at Jones and spoke to him directly.

"My time is limited. You will have to contact me again and let me know the outcome of this meeting, I must leave now."

It was a statement not a question and in the next second she disappeared. No one was sure whether she'd exited through the door or not. Richard sat sulking like a spoilt child and Moebius was studying him trying to work out what was going on in the mans mind. He pulled his attention back to Jones.

"Why have you chosen to re-instate me Jones?"

A smile twisted his mouth up at the corners.

"You have proven yourself honest and just. Those virtues should be rewarded."

There was a mumbling of dissent around the table.
