Charon pulled herself up and reseated herself in the office chair. She rubbed her face wearily and then smiled at Kizmat in an almost apologetic manner.

"Kizzy, you've bust another door, it's not locked."

He kneeled down in front of her.

"Don't change the subject. You've barely slept for weeks, you haven't told me what's going on, you killed Darkspade and yet you still keep me in the dark."

She put her hands either side of his face and then leaned forward to rest her head against his.

"The key to everything is Mortismere...."

Several hours and many arguments later, the two of them sat looking at each other, neither one looked particularly happy and it was Kizmat who spoke first.

"I don't like any of this but as you said it is key to all the knowledge we require. We need to discuss communication, I'm not happy with leaving you at Castle Mortis without a way to talk to you."

Queue more discussion, yelling, arguments and ideas.
