***On a beach of blackened sand, stood Dylious, feet high in the blood stained waters of the great ocean. His hands out, his head looking up to the greenly black sky. Washing up on shore, the body of his parents. Dylious knelt in front of them, grabbing his mother and lying her in his arms. She looked at him and spoke,

"It's okay son... we're not ashamed of you. Your father and I, we love you so much."

Dylious looked over to his father, his body battered and laying lifelessly on the beach, he speaks to Dylious,

"She's right son, we love you no matter what... but it's up to you now. You have the choice."

***Dylious shares a tear with his mother before she turns into blackened sand in his arms and drifts away. A dark and battered Church arises from the ashes of the wasteland beyond the beach, suddenly hundreds of the man in the green garments start to walk around the church, all sharing laughs and riddles with one another. Dylious slowly approaches, ahead he sees a younger version of Charon walking in front of him, holding the hand of a little girl. The two turn around, the little girls eyes meet Dylious'... he drops to his knees, tears of blood flow from his sobs. The girl's face goes sad, as Charon's grows angry.

"Motha'... it's him isn't it? It's my destiny."

the girl says to Charon,

"No Angel, he's merely one of Mortismere's pawns... probably sent to destroy us."

Angel breaks from her mother's hand, and approaches the now child version of Dylious, who is still knelt sobbing,

"No Motha', don't you see?"
she says, rubbing the tears from his eyes,

"He's not here to hurt us, he's come to save us."

Dylious looks up into the eyes of Angel, his body goes numb,

"..."

He can't muster any words, he's become mute,

"We must show you Dylious..."

Angel says, pointing to a stage over to the left.

***The curtains open, showing Dylious' parents again, playing out a scene Dylious knew all too well, the day his parents were murdered. Something is different this time though, Dylious sees someone he knows.. it's Seer! He's the one behind the death of his parents.***

"Dylious..."

Angel speaks,

"They only did this to you so that they could make you more powerful, and hopefully make you one of them."

***From behind the young Dylious emerges the vacant body of the adult Dylious, pointing at Charon he speaks...***

"Your time has come now! You'll be witness to true Darkness!"

***The children grab each other as Charon and Dylious start to duel. Suddenly both Dylious and Charon stop as the shadows that lay by their feet rise and take shape the two shadows begin to braw while Charon and Dylious stand laughing at one another. The scene fades slowly.... THEN THE FACE OF MORTISMERE!***
"KILL HER DYLIOUS!!!"

***Dylious jerks from off the floor, his hands shaking, on his head a cold sweat...***

"What... what does this mean?"
