Mortious' eyes lit up in anxiousness... with a sliver of fear. Charon picked up her duffelbag which caused Mortious to carefully eye her every move and he even jest that she was making up the entire thing. But as Charon smiled and took her hand and slowly removed the Staff of Mortis from the bag- Lord Mortious backed away from her and clinched his scaly fist in a terrifying manner!


Charon Death: ...... As you can plainly see, I wasn't joking. [points at Mortis with the staff] I believe you've been looking for this little trinket? What was that? I thought you said it was worthless without the Crystal of Darkness.......




Then a smile crossed Mortious' vile face. The black candles surrounding the room then lit with a blue flickering flame all across the perimeter and then as the view then twirls sharply around the room and then rises above so that we now see the room from an aerial view-- both Charon and Mortious where standing inside of a reverse Trinity Circle along with the sacrificial slab in the center.




Mortious: Hmph. This. This is why I love you so very much my sweet sweet Charon. And why it is OUR destiny to be joined together as one soul. You've very cleaver bringing my Staff to me. I shall have that now... you shall lay across this slab- accept the Unholy Darkness to be your personal savior... and become my Dark Queen for all eternity. [walks around the sacrificial altar to approach her] Now. If you know how to free Spade, then you should also know that only a user of the Holy Darkness can perform such a feat. Now that I am inside of this body, I can not only yield the Holy Darkness.... but I shall unlock your true potential when you take your father's place by my side.... it is as you always wanted. Charon was balling up laughing!!! Dylan's brain must have dumbed Mortious own!- while still pointing the staff at Mortious she proposed something else....







Charon Death: You're a BIG FAT FUCKING LIAR! There I said it. [waves the staff around like a toy and smiling as she watches Mortis follow it with his eyes] I know what you did to this olive branch.... It's one of your soulchains- now that I have your attention, I also know that your worst fear is to lose me... now why is that?



Outraged! Mortious tries to lunge towards her to grab the Staff but she knew the Unholy incantations that Spade taught when he himself used the Staff of Mortis in the days of the Heels of Mortis. The staff- easily repelled Mortis......


Charon Death: Oooooh you're good Morty. I can see why you longed for this Staff...




Mortious: !!GARRHA!!! I WILL NOT WAIT ANY LONGER!



It was an obvious trap. The candle lights in the room then coalesced into one form right on top of the altar!!! Charon whipped around- gazed upward and she was face-to-face with

The Unholy Knight unsheathed it's scythe and swung it at Charon- but she caught the blade with the Staff!!! At that very moment the chime in the room coming from Julie's jewelry box sounded off.... Mortious' eyes bulged but then, a form breaks through the singular stained glass window........ when the dust cleared..... Mortis, The Knight and Charon all payed their closest attention tooooooooo......
