Charon reached behind her and pulled out a modified nail gun, she pulled something out of it and replaced it with something that looked suspiciously like small incendiary devices. Spade looked at her curiously, he was seeing her properly for the first time in a long time and he wasn't sure he liked the determined set of her jaw, it reminded him of someone.....Charon turned to him.

"Get out! NOW! Move it! GO!!!"

Spade hesitated. Brandon was now standing in the corner apparently having a very serious conversation with himself, Charon grabbed him and hauled him over.

"Right, freak boy! Take Spade, get him out of here, I'll deal with the purple fruitloop, understand?!"

Brandon looked at Charon, then at Spade, glanced at Mortious. He grabbed Spade firmly and hauled him towards the exit but that's not how they were getting out. He made a weird little gesture and the two disappeared in a flash of light. Charon watched them disappear then turned back to Mortious who'd been uncharacteristically quiet up until this point.

"Right then, now you and I are alone, we have to have a little chat."

Mortious grinned, drool and maggots dripping from his lips. He came closer until the two were virtually nose to nose, Charon took a step back to get a decent breath of fresh air as she wrinkled her nose in disgust.

"I knew you'd come to your senses my love and consent to becoming my queen!"

Charon looked as though she may actually vomit. She put her hand out to stop him coming any closer, he grabbed it and tried to pull her closer, it was then that she shot him. Initially, nothing at all seemed to happen, Mortious grinned at her but she stepped back to the wall and waited. There was a quiet popping noise, Mortious looked down where he'd been shot, a large hole had appeared and appeared to be burning a weird cold blue looking flame, he looked back up at her in horror.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! YOU FOOL!"

Charon put the nail gun away and then stared at him.

"I've evened the playing field Morty. I can't allow you and the Reverend to get your own way and I borrowed one of the crimson light guns to see how it worked and created my own little version and shortly your body will no longer exist. You will return to your original form."

Mortious screeched in temper and frustration. She watched as the rotting corpse like body that had been Dylious exploded suddenly and she grinned as bits of flesh splattered everywhere.

"I didn't say it wouldn't be messy though!"

She sprinted from the room as the shockwave from the explosion reverberated throughout the castle, she was miles away on the mental super bike when a huge blast of light ripped through the top of the castle. She grinned.
