Within half-a-second, the double doors to his penthouse office opened wide and a flood of security officers rushed in with crimsonlight guns drawn. Furthermore, Alex's automated security kicked in and a gigantic steel plate falls down from the niche outside of his office window... blanketing the window. The entire office transformed in mere seconds with every single technological security measure imaginable- and yet- Deadblood's katana was touching Alex's neck; in just one flick of his wrist the world's most notorious wrestling promoter would be no more.
Alex slowly rose his right hand upward and smiled at Deadblood...
Alexander Arcane: You're not going to kill me. You want to know why?
Deadblood didn't say a word
Alexander Arcane: And I am certainly not talking about my security officers pointing a weapon that can put down any man or creature... but we both know that if you really wanted to kill me you could have done it already. I didn't become the greatest mastermind this world has seen for nothing- I am often 10 steps or more ahead... why would I even allow you in here in the first place? Why would I allow you to keep your katana... you honestly think I am that stupid?
Deadblood eased a little off of the blade on Alex's neck
Alexander Arcane: Son. I've had worse done to me, I guarantee you that. I've also studied the Unholy Darkness- I don't need fancy security gizmos and whatchamacallits to protect me...
Deadblood: Then get to the point already!
Alexander Arcane: First put down that blade and we'll have a man-to-man talk, shall we? Like I haven't noticed how much you're drawn to that belt but if you want to tap it's true potential, you need me. And the simple fact that you're still here, alive, means... that I need you too. So what do ya say? Care for another glass of champagne?
