The two reached the other side of the dam... in the distance, passed the forest and on top of an ominous hill was the Death Family manor. It was also morning... the faint light from a source of energy that was fabricated by the rules of physics unknown to us in a bizarre 'reality.'
Kizmat turned around after Red finished and with a grind of his teeth he reveals what he knows.
KIZMÄT: Indeed. This is where Creatures go... but know only a small fraction... it appears as though that our man, Sincentius, holds the key. But I do know about the law that governs this place speaks of a way out. There are many ways to enter through here. The most obvious, often, practical, is to simply DIE. Upon dying a Creature enters through the Gate of Fates, where, you are judged. If you're aligned to all good things then congratulations, you get to pick door #1.. the Gate of Holiness. I have NO idea what the fuck is inside of there... prancing cupids for fuckwhatever... but not too my surprise, we're here in this shit hole... door #2. The gods were very cleaver. A being cannot escape this place unless a sacrifice was made. The sacrifice gives up their spot here in the gates. Oh that all means if they die, they're gone for good.... [Kizmat rubs his chin thinking]
"Yes. That's new news to me... but there's something off, isn't there?.. and why are you here?"
KIZMÄT: *sigh* it's because. My sacrifice didn't work. Charon should be out by now... I can tell by the bond of BloodSyn that she is still here... trapped with Darkspade and my brother, Mortismere. Plus, my "spot" is still intact.... it's as though the physics and rules to this place have went haywire... I.... I don't quite understand it... it makes no sense! What could have happened. Charon and the rest are trapped inside of that manor... a limbo place that exists in all gates.
Red made the logical leap in his mind... Sincentius mentioned that the trinity were here.... Darkspade, Charon and Mortismere were here. THEY had to be the Trinity. It really didn't matter to Red how or why but the key to exiting this place was obvious- it lay with those three... Red remembered what Sincentius said to him- about the Trinity were the guardians to these Gates.... information which he was going to keep to himself.
Quite as a mouse- Red Spyder just looked the other way and pointed out a trail that lead North towards the Death Family Manor in the distance..... Kizmat nodded, but clearly upset over his love Charon, and the two pressed onward through the trail and back into the zombie, vampire, werewolf and ghouls and goblins dark forest!!
As the two disappeared into the forest, the perspective pans outward, to that of Sincentius watching on in extreme interest- perched on top of a boulder.... scene fades to black....
