Charon hauled her wrist away from Spade and glared at him.

"YOU ARE SO FUCKING STUPID!"

Spade stared at her, her reaction was confusing and he tilted his head to one side.

"What aren't you telling me?"

He was slow to hear the soft popping noises happening all around him but he certainly heard the cold empty voice.

"THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THE DEMONSTRATION SENIOR DEATHEN, IT WAS MOST INFORMATIVE."

Charons shoulders sagged and she sighed. Spade looked round at the veritable army of Shadow Demons and then back at Charon.

"What the hell is this about?"

Charon didn't speak instead she looked to the lead demon and it was the demon who answered Spade's question.

"DON'T WORRY WE AREN'T HERE TO HARM ANYONE, WE ONLY WISH TO FIND A WAY TO DESTROY QUEEN LILLITH AND IT WOULD SEEM YOU BOTH HOLD THAT KEY. I'M AFRAID CHARON WORKS FOR US NOW, IN RETURN WE PROTECT CRIMSON AND TOGETHER WE INTEND TO KILL LILLITH AND HER FOLLOWERS. SENIOR DEATHEN, YOU MAY WISH TO CONSIDER A TEMPORARY CONTRACT WITH US."

Charon shot a quick look at her father before the whole scene was interrupted by a loud hammering at the front door. Spade swore.

"Fuck sake! I might as well just install a fucking rotating door!!"

He slammed the door open, Moebius strode past him, then stopped just as quickly faced with a room full of shadow demons and Charon. He looked at Spade then Charon and then around at all the different demons.

"What's the deal here?"

No one seemed willing to answer and it was Spade who eventually answered.

"Anti-Lillith meeting....you?"

Moebius shot the demons a dirty look before looking back to Spade rather than Charon.

"That fucking arse Jones is up to something. At this current moment we no longer hold the controlling stock of the NSA, it seems Alex and Richard have become all loved up with one another again. Our lawyers say we don't have a leg to stand on and you guys are standing around whining about Lillith?!"

Spade's temper got the better of him.

"I don't give a fuck what any of you have to say! THIS is MY house and I think you should all get the fuck out!!!!"
