Charon looked her father in the eye.

"What would you know about being a parent exactly? Fucking hell! You did a fucking bang up job of raising me and Kali didn't you?! Yeah fab. I grew up thinking I was no more than Mortismere's play thing before Damien took me in and raised me as his own. Who the hell do you think you are telling me how to run my own fucking family?!!!!!"

Darkspade looked at the floor, a hurt expression on his face, he'd tried hard to step up to the plate and be a father as of late but he was now seeing that it might be too little too late.

"I'm sorry. I can't say any more than that but you must remember you have three children to raise not just the one trapped in Neo-Earth. Angel needs you now more than ever."

Charon got right in Spades face now, her teeth clenched, her voice quiet and even.

"You know what, I wish I'd never found out you were my father. I was better off without you. All you and Brandon can come up with is some fucking ridiculous theory regarding Gunthers mullet and you expect me to jump to it and sort out all your fucking problems for you! Well, I'm not going to, if you aren't going to help me get Crimson back, you can go fuck yourself and if Angel doesn't like it then she can move in with you, see how you go with a tempramental teen living under your roof, good luck on that score - Dad."

Darkspade was now riled as well and he got even closer until they were virtually nose to nose.

"We've tried to help you Charon but you seem fucking hellbent on getting yourself killed. I will take Angel in but only because I don't want history repeating itself. If I could turn back the clock I would have killed Mortismere when I had the chance and taken you to safety but I can't change the past, maybe its time you started to understand that and deal with it."

Charon was only barely controlling her breathing as she glared up at Darkspade.

"I already know how to get Crimson back but I'm fucked if I'm going to tell you. Good luck at getting into Neo-Earth without me!"

She shoved him in the chest, Darkspade moved back but only slightly, he was still glaring at her as she made for the door. He stepped in front of her and placed a hand right in the centre of her chest to bring her to a halt.
