The Eagle
Escape!
With Charon distracted, the Eagle made a pounce at the cage!! The door was stuck!! He couldn’t explain it, but something was keeping him from even being able to kick it open!!! The referee couldn’t get the key in the lock, and Mortismere let out a laugh that echoed across the arena!!!
“ITS YOU!”
FOOL!
The Eagle listened no longer, and ran for the huge man, as he was slightly injured from Charons attack. He leapt and threw a huge flying kick, which Mortismere easily ducked, but was unprepared for a huge clothesline that Charon followed up with!! The Eagle leapt off the ropes, and hit a flying Lionsault!!! Mortismere was down, but as the Eagle got up…. BLAMMMMMMM
Charon nails a superkick!! She heads for the door, seeing that the referee has gotten the key in the lock and unlocked it!! He pulls the chain off, and begins to open the door, but it slams shut violently as Charon steps close, slamming into her, and shooting her right back through the ropes!!! She drops to the mat, uncertain of what to do, as the Eagle groggily crawls away to the corner. Mortismere stands, seemingly unscathed, and stares at the bewildered face of the Eagle.
A mere child cannot defeat me. Nor can you Charon!
He turns his rage to her, as she climbs to one knee, looking for a way out of this. Vincent too, looks around, needing an escape plan here.
It suddenly clicks though, and he smirks, as he stands. Charon stares at Mortis…and suddenly the Eagle charges again, but changes his path, and leaps at the ropes! He catches the middle ropes with both feet and pounces off, looking for a rebound dropkick on Mortismere!! He sidesteps again, right into a huge onslaught from Charon!! The two go at it, and as they do, the Eagle rushes the cage door and dives, slamming into it so hard that it comes right off the hinges!!!! It falls apart as he flies through it and lands on the mat violently, but he escapes!!!
Charon and Mortismere don’t even notice for a few moments, until the bell rings and Lillian makes the announcement! The Eagle just had to distract Mortis’s power hold on the door long enough to get out, and he used Charon to do it!!!
The fans go wild, as he slowly climbs to his feet…and notices the battle still raging inside….
