Wicked beginnings and new twists
With Mortis' escape- Brand-X immediately took the opportunity to get a few nicely placed kicks to the back of Mortis' stupid head and then whip Mortis head back by abruptly taking it and SLAMING Mortis' head back to the cold steel floor. The entire pit rumbled from the impact... suddenly, Autrum Pars came from the sidelines with a massive boot to Brand-X's face- but before Autrum could capitalize- Branden Harvey, while running along the walls of the pit for momentum, leaps high into the air for a spinning DDT!
Autrum's head is implanted hard into the cold calculating floor and Branden immediately hooked his legs for a pin-- but Mortis rises and drops down hard with a hard elbow drop across Branden's back of the neck. Mortis grinned devilishly before snatching a hold of Branden's tights and then FLUNG him against the wall of the bowl-shaped pit.... Branden's left arm was dangling outside of the top of the pit but before Mortis could push him over the top- Gunther and Stefan Black double team Mortis with a double clothesline which dropped the Unholy Lord to the ground with authority!
Mortis tried to rise, but The Riddler prevented it with an insiguri to Mortis' back of the head!
At that very moment, Chane McMahon exited from the back stage watching enjoyably at the action in the pit. With a nod and a grin- a scaffolding lowered from the ceiling. It was "X" in shape and contained dangling chains so a wrestler could grab a hold of the chains and swing from them or use them as weapons.
Jim Ross: What the hell is that Chane doing?!
Jerry, "The King" Lawler: Whatever it is- this just made the match even more dangerous!!
Brand-X eyeballed the scaffolding that now presented itself high above his head... with a running start he launched himself from one of the sides of the pit and grabbed a hold of one of the chains! Branden turned around at that very instant and Brand-X greeted Branden with a flying frankensteiner....
