Kizmat had never recalled Angel ever having taken driving lessons but then thinking back he didn't recall Charon having ever taken a driving lesson either but he was certainly glad of the racing harnesses that Charon had installed in this car and he made sure they were pulled really tight. Angel seemed to be enjoying herself way too much but even Kizmat noticed her stiffen suddenly, he hadn't noticed her glancing in the rear view mirror but now he had, he glanced too and he was sure he'd seen something much further back in the tunnel.

Angel knew instinctively who it was and she was damned if she was going to let Markus catch them up. She floored the thing and the Aston responded, Kizmat thought he might consider praying at some point. Angel slammed the brakes, hauled the wheel hard to the right and made a turn that would have been difficult in daylight, let alone at......well Kizmat wasn't sure what speed they were doing since it was pitch black but the g-force created by the sudden turn was terrifying.
