Being perfect is the only way to survive with a job like this.

Deadblood watched in awe as the cartel members were taken out by the unseen force, only snapping out of it when he saw his katana sliding across the floor towards him. Reaching down, he quickly scooped it up with one hand and jumped to his feet. The lone guard that hadn't been taken out stared at Deadblood in disbelief before then looking around for a weapon, any weapon, but before he could, Deadblood stepped forward and in one swipe, sliced off the man's right leg at the knee!!!!!

The guard collapsed to the floor, staring down at the stump, blood pouring out of it, the severed lower part of his leg laying just beyond the stump!!! The guard then proceeded to let out of a scream, which Deadblood silenced with a quick downward stab of his katana, sending the blade into the guard's mouth and down his throat, now the only thing coming out of his mouth being blood gurgling out around the sharp, shiny blade of the katana!!!!!!!

Glaring down at the guard as blood continued pouring out of his mouth like a volcano, Deadblood then ripped the katana back out, sending a splash of blood onto the wall and ceiling of the room!!!!! Flinging the blade to get more of the blood off, Deadblood was about to grab his sheath and other belongings when he saw that La Espina was trying to slip out through the room's door. Rushing the grab his desert eagle from where it landed after the table went flying, he managed to fire several shots in the direction of La Espina, but it was too late: he'd already managed to open and run out the door!

"Damn, nothing's ever simple . . ." Deadblood muttered before grabbing the rest of his equipment and pulling out his mask, slipping it on. "We better get out of here fast. I'm sure he's already calling in reinforcements!"

Turning to look at Sheri, he saw that she was still sitting in her chair, breathing heavily and dazed. Deadblood quickly moved towards her, not wanting to stick around that hotel room any long than he had to, but at the same time, he was concerned and didn't want to leave Sheri behind in Colombia if he didn't have to. There were few fates he could think of at the moment that would be crueler than that.

"Sheri? Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Shaking her head weakly, she managed to say, "No . . . just . . . help me . . . please . . ."

Not fully understanding what was wrong with Sheri, Deadblood went to retrieve her belongings too that the guards had confiscated. Before helping her up, he also took out a small bomb and setting the timer for a few minutes, he tossed it into one of the bags of guns. The bags would be too heavy to take all the way back to the airfield while trying to run from the cartel, but he didn't want to just leave the guns for them to pick up freely later on.

They were nice guns, mostly machine guns. The only reason he wasn't going to take one for his own use was because they didn't come with any ammo. It was just the guns and empty magazines for them. Perhaps the bomb would also provide a distraction from them when it blew up and there was the added bonus of possibly taking out more of the cartel if any of their men tried to sneak into the hotel room to grab the guns before the bomb exploded.

Quickly reloading his desert eagle, Deadblood then helped Sheri to her feet. She could stand at least and walk too, with his help. Stepping out into the hallway, they were just in time to find another group of four guards moving down the hallway towards them from the front of the hotel. Firing several shots at them and hitting at least two of the guards, Deadblood helped Sheri along in the opposite direction down the hallway, hoping to find a back way out of the hotel.
