Deadblood (Absolute & Mortal Champion)
On top of the world with no one even coming close to knocking us down.
At the moment Alexander said the double Undisputed Champion's name, his music hit, much to the crowd's delight, and he made his way out onto the stage, no mask and wearing a suit himself, titles over both shoulders, Sheri Stull following behind him.
Cole: "The champ looks good considering the beating he took to retain his title belts!"
King: "Indeed he does, Michael! Sheri looks better, of course! I really missed seeing her at the Anniversary Show!"
JBL: "I don't know why she's bothering coming out here with him after the way he treated her before his match!"
Cole: "He only wanted her backstage for her safety and I don't blame him!"
JBL: "Yeah, well, I hope Mr. Arcane's about to strip him of those titles he didn't earn!"
Deadblood raised both titles high in the air, getting even more cheers, before making his way down to the ring. Walking up the steel steps, he held the rope open for Sheri, receiving a funny look from her considering the big deal he made about her holding the rope open for him before. After stepping into the ring himself, where he again raised the titles, he then grabbed a mic from ringside as his music stopped.
Stepping towards Alexander, both men smiled, Alexander reaching his hand out to shake, which Deadblood accepted, this action receiving a few boos mixed in with the loud cheers, though the booing stopped as soon as the moment passed.
"Thank you for that intro, Alex. While I appreciate your compliments, I think you had it right with we delivered. Who knows how far I would have made it as champion without your guidance?" The crowd booed at the last part of Deadblood's words.
Cole: "I don't think the crowd agrees with the champion on Mr. Arcane having anything to do with his success!"
King: "I don't agree either! I didn't see Mr. Arcane stepping in to get his face beat during that main event at the Anniversary Show!"
JBL: "Oh please, Deadblood wouldn't have survived that match without Mr. Arcane's help! Deadblood just said it himself!"
As the crowd settled back down, Deadblood waited to see what Alexander had to say.
