To Angel, the room seemed to be getting darker, the lights dimming until it was pitch black. And now she could not only feel the presence in her room but she could also hear its slow, heavy footsteps. She was about to turn around at start pounding on the door to get the attention of her father. He'd be able to save her. Nothing could stop daddy. But before she could attempt that, she heard the crackle of electricity and she was suddenly teleported away, finding herself in what looked like an abandoned apartment.
"Hello?" Angel called out, receiving no answer as she moved towards a window to look out into the night. Far below she could see a street filled with cars, many honking their horns as they tried to navigate the sluggish traffic. She then turned back around, cautiously making her way through the dark apartment, hoping to find the door to the hallway. "Is someone here?" No answer still.
When she reached a wall, she felt along it until she found a light switch. She flicked it a few times, but no lights came on. Determined to escape, she continued along, eventually finding the exit to the room she was in and after too much longer, she found the door that led out of the apartment, as indicated by its chain. She started trying to undo the chain and that was when he made his presence in that apartment known.
"Leaving already?! But the fun hasn't even begun!" She was able to smell the whiskey on his breath and there was the scent of cigar smoke too. "Just ask those other girls! They'll tell you it's worth staying for, or at least they would if I hadn't sawed their heads off!"
Angel turned around slowly and saw exactly who it was...
