Charon grabbed Markus' arm and twisted hard forcing him to his knee's on the floor. Markus stared at Charon, a pleading look on his face, she merely grinned at him as Lillith stepped in as close as she could to watch her sons demise. Charon pulled her arm back and balled her fist, she swung and then things went weird.

Markus closed his eyes expecting the impact in a split second, when it didn't come, he cracked his eyes slightly incase it was some kind of sick joke between the two. Instead what he witnessed was Charon with her fist buried deep in Lilliths chest cavity. Charon's face had taken on a twisted, pained expression as though every second her hand was in contact with Lillith was more pain than she could comfortably endure.

Markus rose to his feet, as he did Charon turned to face him and he could see that he was indeed talking to Charon not Evangelion. Charons teeth were gritted but she managed to hiss at him.

"You fool. I didn't need you here, you've forced my hand too early, get out now before she kills both of us."

Markus was going to argue but Charon gave him a look which told him that if he didn't she'd find him and kill him herself. He disappeared and Charon turned back to Lillith and smiled evilly at her.

"I've waited a long time for this. Did you really think you'd be able to turn me into your perfect killing machine? No need to answer my Queen, you're giving me all the answer I really need."

Back in the laboratory alarms were going off, security doors were slamming into place and Fein was sprinting full pelt to where Charon and Lillith were locked in a silent and virtual battle.
