Augustus began to panic. Gray watched the images on the screen and he looked down at the 'real' Augustus who was sat frigid in the chair as though something was restraining him. Gray spoke urgently to him.

"Augustus this is virtual reality, she can't make you do anything you don't want to do, you need to fight the programming not Lillith."

Augustus felt the sweat trickling down his forehead, that damned crazy bitch was going to mount him or something weird, the swishing of her skirt thing drove him mad. Gray was keeping one eye on the monitor showing the feed from the CW showing CM7, he could see Charon charging around the ring trying to take out Eva. He spoke again.

"Augustus use your mind, you need to draw more power."

Gray watched the monitors showing the power being drawn by Lilliths mainframe in Neo-Earth and that being drawn by their mainframe here on Earth. Augustus was panicking, he needed to get his head back on straight.

"AUGUSTUS. REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE."

Gray looked round and saw Kali standing in the doorway with Tawiscara perched on her shoulder. He stared at her then back at the bank of monitors.

"What the hell are you doing?"

Kali shrugged.

"Augustus can not beat someone when he is unsure of who he truly is."

Gray was irritated, the woman always seemed to speak in riddles and then she spoke again, this time in a strange language he had only ever read about, the language of the ancients.

"Hacrannar erra de nomgrat Augustii ebegat Moebius."

It was a gutteral language, certain letters were spat as opposed to pronounced and whatever she had said it seemed to be working on Augustus. The name Moebius had perked his interest though and he filed it in that part of his brain that would deal with things later. Augustus felt his mind open up, images rushed in, memories long hidden and for good reason. He could hear a woman screaming, he knew it was his mother and suddenly he knew what he neeed to do.

Gray watched in amazement as the binary code that had been surging down the centre screen began to slow, some lines began to run backwards and every now and then lines shot sideways and the power being drawn from the mainframe began to rise to frightening levels. He noted that the shadows in the room were now gravitating toward where Augustus was sat, he seemed to be absorbing them and they looked to Gray as though they were entering the mainframe itself. He checked the monitors, Lillith had altered her attack and she too was drawing an equal amount of power from her mainframe. Gray looked at Kali.

"What the hell is happening?"

Kali spoke in the ancient language again, two hooded figures appeared either side of her, they conversed in the same language for several seconds then disappeared again. Gray looked back at the screens as Augustus began to draw an impossible amount of power, power that hadn't been there seconds before. Kali looked at Gray.

"Augustus is a shadow demon like his mother but he has powers like his father too. See how he's drawing strength from the shadows? He's directing it somewhere, although I have no idea where. What happens now is up to him. Oh and do you think you will need extra power? I can sort out more if you wish it."

Gray looked from Kali, to Augustus, to the bank of monitors and then back to the CM7 feed. Eva seemed to be faltering.

"We'll need as much power as you can find and we may need a way of cooling some of this circuitry if he keeps drawing this much energy."

Kali turned and disappeared. Gray checked on Augustus' vital signs, they were strong and stable.

Augustus felt the change within him and realised he could now stand but something was weird, he was taller. Lillith backed off slightly, perturbed that the boy had shrugged off her black magic but he wasn't a boy any longer was he? Lillith looked at the demon towering over her by a good head and shoulders and suddenly realisation dawned on her and she screeched in temper.

"A bastard son, with that ugly bitch."

Augustus could now see Lillith for who she truly was but she wasn't giving up that easy and she tried to pull her best moves on him, he looked down at her pity in his eyes.

"Queen Lillith, I am Master of all that is Blood and all that is Nothing, the day and the night and the light and the dark. King of Shadows and of life and death itself. I am Augustus and I am Moebius, the neverending circle of life and death. You can not destroy me or the World which I protect."

Gray listened to the voice, he could hear Augustus but he could hear a voice that was terrifying but gentle at the same time, a voice that was old and yet youthful and it rattled in your very soul. Gray watched as the power requirements far exceeded those he had originally planned for and conduits and circuitry started to smoke, he could feel the floor vibrating and as circuits started to spark, Kali arrived back with sacks and sacks of ice and a lot of robed helpers who stacked it everywhere. Kali and Gray both stared at the monitors as Augustus began to speak in the ancient language that Kali had spoken only moments before.

"Ina dinactrac ofgonac oder granthanner Augustii ebegat Moebius, King asdicter rule."

Augustus reached out for Lillith, she rose up to her full height and began rubbing herself up against the demon, she had to admit all the macho stuff was really turning her on but Augustus was having none of it. Back in the real World Kali and Gray held onto the desks for dear life as the whole room vibrated with enough energy to send Lillith into space and then some...
