How about we skip the bowing down and praying part and just go straight to me kicking your ass?
For a moment, they both just stared at each other, the tension building. Then, suddenly, Spade started things off by landing several punches on Red’s face, causing him to stumble back a little. Managing to bring up one of his arms to block the next punch though, Red proceeded to strike Spade with several punches of his own before grabbing Spade and throwing him into the ropes. Spade bounced off of the ropes and went running back to Red, who planted Spade onto the mat with a sidewalk slam. The crowd cheered, excited about the beginning of what would most certainly develop into one hellacious battle between a lot of their favorite superstars for the top title in the company.
Red pulled Spade up, but he drove his fist into Red’s gut, forcing him to release Spade and involuntarily bend over, before taking Red down with a jumping DDT, drilling his skull viscously into the mat. He rolled over onto his back, his head spinning with pain. Spade picked Red’s right leg up and began to repeatedly kick him in the knee. With pain shooting up and down his leg, Red tried to get it free from Spade’s grasp, but couldn’t from his current position. Finally letting go of Red’s leg, it fell to the mat and Spade then jumped onto Red’s knee with an elbow drop.
Getting back up, Spade brought Red with him and whipped Red into one of the corners before charging at him. He attempted to hit Red with a splash, but he moved out of the way at the last second and Spade landed on the turnbuckle instead, knocking the air out of his body and sending him to the mat. Red’s knee was in immense pain. He was able to continue staying upright though, for the time being anyway. He approached Spade, who was on his hands and knees, gasping for air, and trying to climb to his feet. He pulled Spade up by his head and, taking several steps back, ran forward, bashing his face on the top of the steel turnbuckle.
He prevented Spade from falling back down and leaned him against the turnbuckle instead. He then lifted Spade up to the top and went up with him, getting ready to superplex him off of the turnbuckle. Spade began to fight back though and hit Red in the head with punches and elbows until he fell backwards off of the turnbuckle, crashing to the mat below. Carefully standing up as Red stood up himself, Spade leapt off of turnbuckle, nailing Red with a flying clothesline right when he turned around to look back at the turnbuckle. Pulling Red up some, Spade put Red in a side headlock. Spade knew that he couldn’t eliminate Red by submission, but he thought that maybe he could weaken Red some and make him easier to knock over the top rope…
