Brandon did the only thing he could think of - he bit Mortismere. Mortis was so shocked he let go and stared at the wild haired Brit in astonishment. Brandon grinned and kicked the front of Mortismeres shins hard, Mortismere cursed and backed away momentarily allowing Brandon time to get back up.

Meanwhile, Sincentius gazed round, over confident in his ability to take out what was essentially a teenage girl. Unfortunately for Sincentius, the teenage girl was the offspring of two very powerful individuals and genetics can produce some truly fearsome results.

Neo-Earth seemed to be like a bucket of cold water for Angel, her eyes flicked open and they'd turned the dangerous red and amber colour they went when she was annoyed or angry. Sincentius turned back toward her to finish her off but what he actually got was a rusted door straight to the face which send him crashing backwards. Angel's fangs were now showing as she stared wildly at Sincentius.

Back at the temple Brandon and Mortismere were still slugging it out, a vortex opened up behind Brandon and Mortismere shoved him toward it. Brandon managed to grab a hold of a piece of twisted metal as the top half of his body went through. He could see Angel with her arms raised about to throw something at Sincentius, he managed to grab the object she was going to throw hauling her with it. Angel came through the vortex like a rocket and she crashed right into Mortismere who took the metal object right on the top of the head and staggered backwards into a heap.
