Angel wasn't overly pleased about being stuck in a jam with the fat, purple assed demon but then she wasn't keen on dying or being processed by tin thingummies either. The thought of her own death actually had a calming influence on her, she figured if she was going to die then she would take as many of them with her as she could. The one closest to her made a grab for her arm, as it touched her it was flung backwards with immense force, crashing into other EVA's and causing another pause as they seemed to assess the situation. She realised everyone was now looking at her including the fat purple demon, she glared at him and then shrugged in a "don't look at me, I don't know either" way.

Whatever had happened, had sparked something within her and she could now feel the power surging through her body. She knew she'd done it once before against Sincentius but that was in defence of someone she loved, she hadn't realised it could be used to defend herself and a fat arsed demon.

The EVA's had re-grouped and started forwards again, this time Angel formed a ball of energy in her minds eye, when she opened her eyes she could see the ball shimmering delicately in the palm of her open hand. It didn't look like much but she grinned as she rotated it deftly in the air, the EVA's obviously didn't consider it a threat either until Angel flicked it towards them. It spread out like a wall of fire except it turned a pale blue like ice and hit them all with the force of an atom bomb exploding in a confined space. A vortex also opened behind them and they all fell back through leaving Angel and Mortismere standing there. Mortismere was staring at her.

As Mortismere was about to question her another vortex sprung open depositing Brandon and Sincentius. It was Brandon who realised first that the confining ring of fire was no longer separating them from Darkspade.
