Charon was only interested in one thing, well two really, killing Kizmat and maiming Drkside, if she could manage both in one go life would be perfect. As it was Dylan seemed to be having a conflict of some sort, Drkside seemed intent of keeping control of Kizmat and no one seemed to be taking her search for Crimson or Angel at all seriously.

She picked up a sledgehammer and swung it, catching Drkside in the side of the knee and Kizmat a glancing blow to his shin. Both swore and Dylan continued to chant, Charon took no notice of him until several words activated a memory, one so long hidden it hit her as hard as any weapon, fist or kick.

Suddenly she was a child again standing in the dark dungeon Mortismere favoured so much, she'd told him to go fuck himself again and he was intent on punishing her in any way he could think of but the problem was, she was so used to the pain now, nothing really ever worked.

She smelt Seer before she saw him walk through the door, she glared defiantly at him, her blue eyes blazing in the darkness. The memory became hazy but the words were clear, the words Dylan had just spoken....

She snapped back into the present and stood looking at Dylan. She suddenly felt as though she were in the middle of the biggest nightmare she'd ever had.
