***Dylan lay on the operating table as Charon stood close by watching his slow but steady improvement. His body was twitching as he was muttering demonist sayings in his sleep…***

“Well Charon, we were able to stabilize the serum in his blood stream, but were not sure for how long. His body seems to be fighting off any attempts of countering it that we make.”
The paramedic spoke softly to her as Charon’s face grew long,

***Charon leaned over the table and took a close look at Dylan, who started to sweat profusely…***

“What is your connection to her Dylan? What is your connection to everything?”
Charon asked redundantly,

***Dylan’s eyes slowly opened and focused in on Charon, for an instant he gave her a look of loving relief as he held out his hand…***

Taking his hand Charon leaned down to hear what Dylan was about to say,

“Please, please find her…my angel…”

***His face quickly wretched over and his eyes turned into a sharp shade of blue as he quickly reached up with his other hand, grabbing Charon by the throat. The paramedics ran over and injected sedation into Dylan’s neck…knocking him back out…
After a faint sign of feeling sorry for Dylan, Charon’s face turned emotionless and determined as she knew now what she had to do.***

“We’ve gotta’ get his ass outta’ here before he wakes back up.”
One paramedic said to the other as he began injecting him with another syringe,

“And just what is that?”
Charon asked,

“It’s a temporary amnesia…we don’t want him coming back here when he wakes up.”
The frightened paramedic responded,

“The kid already has enough memory loss…”
She thought to herself as he face turned sarcastically towards Dylan,

***Grabbing her black coat, Charon turned and started to make her way out of the medical unit… She looked as bold as ever as se knew now what she had to do…
Rescue her children at any cost.***
