Why don't we just... wait here for a little while... see what happens?

Sheri thought for a moment on Deadblood’s offer. While part of her wanted nothing more than to go home and decompress after that crazy event, drinks were tempting and the idea of a limo ride was hard to turn down as well.

“Well you don’t have to twist my arm or anything. A drink sounds amazing after all that. But shouldn’t I be the one offering to buy? I mean don’t get me wrong, I still think you are nuts but I’ll admit you were pretty impressive out there. Even without my help, you put on a great show.”

Deadblood smirked, and was about to goad her further about the sport bike destroyed in their fight, when a faint glint in the darkness caught his attention.

“Hey, now! Options? Features? You ass, I said I’d replace the bike, not-”

“Wait,” Deadblood stopped abruptly, cutting her off mid-protest. His earlier joking demeanor was all but gone now, as he furtively scanned the dimly lit parking garage, searching. Sheri paused, and looked over in the same direction, her heart starting to pound a bit as she too spotted that strange glimmer of light reflecting off something just beyond the limo. Something big...
