Deadblood and Sheri began to wearily make their way from the scene. Looking around at the carnage they now pondered how they would travel back home. "We need to get the hell out of here. I'm amazed the cops haven't showed up, yet." Deadblood looked back towards the bar, no one in sight. Sheri looked the other way seeing a few cars here and there, as Deadblood did the other way. They were more than likely bar patrons who left them behind. "I guess we need to borrow a ride?" Sheri shrugged, looking towards DB. "Guess so."
The two walked further away from the flaming car, which was now spreading into the street with the fluids leaking from the various hoses and tanks storing them. They turned away, satified that it had at least taken less effort to kill their masked attacker than the damn cyborg earlier.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM
The two turned in shock as the car exploded into flames now, sending a towering smokestack into the air. Debris flew out into and across the street. The car itself rolled back onto it's wheels as the tires started to blow out slowly, creating huge "booms". If the authorities hadn't been willing to come before, they would certainly have to now. Deadblood and Sheri quickly made their way to the nearest car, DB smashing the driver window with his elbow. He leaned in, hearing the alarm going off and quickly reached beneath the steering column, ripping the paneling off and yanking the wiring down. He unlocked the door and pulled it open, dropping down on the floor of the car. "Do this often?" Sheri chimed. Deadblood paid her no attention, trying to get out of the area as fast as possible. BOOM! Another tire blowout. Sheri looked back and forth attempting to keep a look out.
Deadblood began flipping through the wiring, desperately trying to get the wires he'd need to start the vehicle and get them the hell away from yet another catastrophe. Although they were in a less populated part of town, being that the stores were closed in this area, they had a decent chance that the police and fire squads wouldn't be here right away, if at all. Sheri pulled on the handle a few times, trying to get the door opened. "Get me in here already! I don't like being on the street like this!" BOOM! The last tire blew out, drawing the attention of Sheri, again. Deadblood connected the right wires, and the the spark shot through them, giving life to the car. Deadblood smirked, looking up through the passenger window to Sheri.
PLAY
"Patience is a virtue!" He stopped smirking. He stopped breathing for a moment. Although the exploding tires had been giving him panic attacks here and there, the look on Sheri's face told the story right now. She slowly backed away from the car window towards the rear of the car... away from the destroyed vehicle and building. Deadblood slowly sat up from the floor of the car, climbing to his feet. He grabbed hold of the car door and pulled himself upright, looking down the street to the masked man, standing there, practically unaffected. "No..." "...fucking..." "...way!"
The two of them looked to one another, contemplating their next move. The masked man was now holding a duffel bag, which he dropped beside himself. Deadblood and Sheri were even more worried about that now, than the fact the man they'd just crushed was standing there unaffected. "This is just NOT your fucking night children!"
Like a blur, the masked man sped towards them and was standing on the hood of the car. He thrust his hand towards the door Deadblood was standing behind. A telekinetic burst slammed him between it and the cars frame. Sheri jumped away to the rear of the car, quickly looking for anything to stop him. She spotted a few more parking meter poles. Focusing on those in the panic, she ripped them from the ground, sending them flying in his direction. One came rolling to her, as the masked man was heavily busy being bashed by the steel poles. The shield was effective in penetration, but the smashing of the steel, especially after being buried with a car and a building...
Well, it hurt somewhat.
"God damnit! ENOUGH OF YOUR BULLSHIT!" Gojinn walked up the windshield and over the roof of the car to go after Sheri. He knew she was hiding there and could sense her giving off energy as she threw yet another pole at his face. Gojinn stumbled back, frustrated by the TK's abilities. Though they were far inferior, they were enough to give him a bit of a challenge at least. He shook the last blow off with a smirk and stepped in again. Sheri popped up, heaving back on the pipe before he saw her coming. His eyes went wide as she cracked him in the left knee. The shielding kept her from shattering his knee, but the blow did stagger him. Deadblood pushed the car door open and off of himself again, quickly reaching in and shifting the car into drive! He pressed on the gas, half hanging from the door still and sent the car flying!!
Gojinn, still staggering at the moment, completely lost his balance with the car taking off. Deadblood, knowing this was a bad idea, quickly jerked the wheel. His body rolled free from the car as it turned away from the driver side. Deadblood continued to roll away as the car revved it's engine and two wheels came off the ground. Gojinn, who was surfing the roof at the time, flew off, flying and smashing through the rear window of a car parked on the street. The car, however, flew straight into the display window of a store, flying in on two wheels. The windows were broken from Sheri's earlier attacks already, but the bricks and goods in the store exploded in every which way, as the vehicle finally settled back down on all four wheels now, stalling as it did and sputtering into silence.
"Holy shit!" Sheri yelled. She came running towards Deadblood who, after everything, seemed mostly unhurt. He groaned in pain from being flung and thrown across the pavement. Other than fire crackling now, the car steaming in the store, and now Sheri's steps hitting the concrete as she ran, all was silent. Sheri helped Deadblood up looking over at the body of their masked attacker, lying face down through the back window of the car, his legs the only thing sticking out. The two knew they had to leave.
Before they could take another breathe, the sound of glass rustling around in the car was more than obvious. Deadblood stumbled backward, barely getting to his own two feet, as Sheri tried to hold him up for a minute. Gojinn, mask still somehow in tact, pulled himself from the vehicle and slid back onto his feet on the ground. He placed his hands on the cars trunk and breathed heavily for a moment, before slowly turning and laughing maniacally. Deadblood dropped his head in frustration. "Christ... that can't be good." "Go!" Sheri yelled in reply.
Gojinn started walking slowly towards them. "I AM A GOD! DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU STAND ANY CHANCE?!" He closed the gap as the two began to run down the street in retreat yet again, desperate to figure out a way to handle the situation. Gojinn pulled a single magnum from his pocket and took aim, firing a few shots at their feet as they scrambled away. He continued to laugh, the bullets simply missing them and driving them back and forth as they attempted to weave and dodge the shots. "SPLIT UP!" Deadblood shoved Sheri behind the cover of another car on the street and sprinted the opposite direction, prompting Gojinn to pull the other Desert Eagle from it's holster and fire in his direction now.
Gojinn grinned beneath that mask. This was what he wanted. Seperate them first, then drive them apart and kill them both while they're alone. It would be easier. It would be more fun watching them feel so alone in their final moments. DB managed to get into a nearby alley. Out of view of Gojinn and the barrels of his pistols, Gojinn turned the Desert Eagles towards the car, seeing Sheri poke her eyes out from behind the back of it. Gojinn pulled the trigger a few times, watching some of the bullets ricochet from the wide angle he put on them and others penetrate the steel and rip out the back. He slowly took steps down the street towards her. "You know, Sheri, I'm not interested in the belt. Don't really care. And you're right, you HAD nothing to do with this. BUT - you just happened to be in the wrong place, wrong time. DB has to die, again. Unfortunately that job was given to me by some people that want to fuck my life up if I don't. And since I'm just SO good at my job..." Having piqued her curiousity, she had looked under the edge of the bumper to see where he was walking to, though she could certainly hear him closing in.
"Don't take it personally. I'm just not stupid enough to ACTUALLY think you're not gonna work with him! You DO owe him a bike, after all." Sheri's eyes widened. She wondered how long he had been following them. The footsteps grew closer, but the interesting sound she heard next made her feel even more uneasy. Gojinn had holstered his Desert Eagles. He stopped walking. Sheri scrambled to the other side of the car, knowing Gojinn was standing beside it and quickly focused every bit of concentration on it, lifting and tossing it against her masked foe!! Gojinn slammed against the steel of the door in surprise and planted his feet, smashing his palms against it as she slowly started to stop holding it herself!
She stopped her hold on the car, but it was still floating before her eyes!! It slowly rotated over the head of Gojinn!! She watched in almost disbelief as he simply held the car above his head with his own bare hands!! He grins as he pulls one hand off and then holds it up with one finger! The energy shield around him slowly crawls up his arm and wraps around the vehicle!!!! "You're stronger than you look! Bravo! But unfortunately for you, I've been using my powers for oh... a few millenia?" He suddenly stopped being friendly and looked to heave the car back and throw it at her! This is it! The end!
BANG!
A shot rang out, then several more! Blood sprayed in the direction of Sheri!! Gojinn collapsed, dropping the car atop himself!! Sheri looked up in disbelief at Deadblood, standing across the street on the fire escape in the alley!! He pulled the Desert Eagle back and holstered it himself! "Fuck you! Sheri! RUN!" Neither were sure what the outcome of this would be, but they weren't going to stick around for it! Sheri took off, as Deadblood began sprinting down the fire escape to get away. As they met up in the alley, they heard the dreadful sound of scrap metal and glass scraping at high speed on the pavement behind them. They watched in horror and anger again, as Gojinn pressed the car off of him and down the street. "GOD DAMNIT! NOW I KNOW WHY HE HATES GETTING SHOT!! FFFFFFUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!"
"This night isn't going to end, is it?" Sheri looked to an almost defeated Deadblood. "It will if we both die." They both moved off down the alley to get distance from Gojinn, who sat up, looking down at his chest. The blood flowed from his wounds freely for several seconds and then stopped. The holes closed and whatever shells hadn't exited through and through, popped out of the wound as they shut. He whipped his head around seeing them disappear into the night.
"OH NO YOU DON'T! IT'S NOT OVER DEADBLOOD! IT'S NOT OVER YET!!!"
