The lights fade as “Druken Ninja Master” by Twiztid blasts over the speakers. The lights come up purple as Amethyst can be seen crouched on the ring post. He leaps down to the ring mat as the music fades out the lights stay purple as Amethyst can be seen holding a microphone; he holds it his masked face and speaks in a voice that sends chills down the spines of everyone in the arena.

Amethyst: I hear there is a tournament called King of Pain, well I like causing pain…so I’m putting my name in the hat as it were, I not only want to enter this contest, I want to win it.

Amethyst then holds his hands out to the side of him as purple smoke pours out from the ring and fills up the ring the lights blacken then come back up as laughter can be heard. Amethyst has disappeared again leaving a dark purple Japanese symbol which means Amethyst, the symbol then burst into purple flames.
