Charon Death
Hmmm...maybe we need more than a tin opener....
Charon's memory was churning out lists of relevant information to her regarding the prototype cyborgs she had worked on at the Technocracy. This one was slow to re-program, that would mean the bugs regarding this were still not all ironed out, the other option was that whoever had built this had limited knowledge of the latest technology and used stuff easily accessible via the internet. There was also the possibility that there was a second operator okaying the codes manually, this would explain the program delay too. Binary was generally the accepted program code for the cyborgs as it was quicker for them to process as it only consisted of noughts and ones. She wondered momentarily whether it would be possible to hack the program. She'd have a think once this match was over if it didn't kill her first!
Charon glanced at Gojinn, she couldn't completely trust him here, any chance he got he would sacrifice her to Eva, that much was obvious. Her only option would to be either use Gojinn to take out Eva or somehow confuse Eva. Electronic devices didn't mix well with water, that much was for certain. It would be like dumping your mobile phone down the toilet and then flushing!
It seemed an age that they all just stood there staring at each other, water lapped around their feet and nothing else seemed to exist in that moment in time other than the three of them and that dome and the water. Charon was aware that if they stood there much longer they wouldn't survive the cyborg and an idea was starting to form slowly in her mind and she wanted to get the match re-started.
She turned to Gojinn and started yelling at him, it was complete nonsense and he frowned at her, she was now enjoying herself, it felt good to actually be doing something. She shoved Gojinn in the chest and he took a step back, mostly in shock and surprise. Eva turned her attention to both trying to figure out the logic of Charon attacking Gojinn and not Eva. The logic did not compute for Eva and it started to search its programs parameters for previous behaviour from Charon that would fit this pattern.
Charon continued to keep up a tirade of anything and everything she could think of including binary. Gojinn was looking from Charon to Eva and was close to smacking Charon in the head when he caught her reciting binary codes. He flicked a look at Eva and realised it was paused while re-programming, that was all Charon needed, she caught Gojinn's look and slid sideways. She belted at Eva smashing it feet first in the ankle region, the force made Eva topple forwards onto its front. Gojinn was quick on the uptake and stormed over and starting dropping big boots to the back of Eva's head, his intention was to separate its head from the rest of it.
Charon took the time to consider her next set of moves. Eva wouldn't take too much time to re-program and there was no way Gojinn was going to sever the head with just hard kicks. They needed to get the thing in the water. It was the water swirling around her ankles and the relatively dry ring where Gojinn was kicking Eva that gave her the idea. The thing was how would she manage to tip the ring?
