Charon was quite honestly stunned. The thing had a sort of consciousness, it also shocked her, as all the experiments the Technocracy had done had ended in failure when trying to use a human host. Most human subjects had been driven insane and succumbed to a nervous breakdown, even those who had known and willingly undergone the procedure.

It had always reminded her of the tv show Dr Who which had been regularly shown on the respected channel BBC1. The Cybermen were humans who'd been "upgraded", it had freaked her out then and it freaked her out when she worked at the Technocracy. She wondered how anyone could have stayed sane, unless....

If that person didn't know they were a human to start with, then that might just work but it was incredibly hard to just wipe someone's brain clean like that. There would always be certain character traits that would rise back to the surface, they'd tried it and failed. Someone, however, had tried it and succeeded.

She watched as Gojinn took the rustbucket down, why was the damned thing targeting her? She slid under the bottom rope and into the water to find out how the ring was being lowered. She fished around underwater until she neeed air but came up with a large monkey wrench, she then dived back under the water and attacked one of the hydraulic legs and letting it fill with water so it wouldn't work. She then did the same to the other one. Gojinn and Eva were still scrambling around in the ring, Gojinn had obviously noticed Charon's absence and was doing his utmost to take out the tinman. She then swam round to the other side of the ring and tightened that side up before sliding back in under the bottom rope, once more sopping wet.

Eva had Gojinn in a vice like grip round his throat and although Charon liked the colour blue she felt it necessary to belt Eva over the back of the head with the monkey wrench. She didn't have a tin opener but a monkey wrench would suffice. She grinned at Eva as it turned round to face her after dropping Gojinn to the canvas.

"Ever heard of the saying 'a spanner in the works'?"

Eva moved toward her but Charon had lighning fast reactions and didn't rely on re-programming either remote or otherwise. The monkey wrench was shoved straight into the place Eva was "seeing" from. It was a dirty tactic but this was now about survival not winning and Charon moved quickly as Eva swung round in an apparent temper tantrum. She welted Eva round the back of the head again this time using both hands on the handle of the wrench. Again Eva turned to try and face the direction of attack, Charon could feel the almost imperceptible tipping of the ring as the side she'd tightened started to rise and then dropped low and smashed the wrench into the back of the cyborgs legs, tipping it off balance....
