Charon lay motionless with her eyes closed for several minutes, using the time to absorb the pain and get some oxygen back into her lungs. Her ribs were now beyond pain and had eased into an annoying throb which she figured meant she was still alive after the tumble.
She felt some movement below her, it suddenly occured to her that she had either landed on Kizmat or the technician or quite possibly both which explained why it hadn't hurt as much as it should. She began to move slowly, which shocked the ref as he was about to reach down and check for a pulse which would have been a waste of time anyway since she hadn't had a pulse for quite some time.
As she moved, she blinked her eyes open then felt a grab on her left ankle. She looked down through the debris and could see it was Kizmat hauling downwards.

"Bugger!"

Was all she had time to say as she disappeared underneath all the tables and wires. The whole arena was going crazy, the ref was trying to see where they'd gone, the cameramen were getting GBH of the earhole for not thinking of putting a camera down on the arena floor, the announce table had no idea what to say since there was nothing for them to see until Kizmat stood and exploded all the debris into the air, revealing he had Charon on her knee's with a cable wrapped round her throat.
He hauled on the cable dragging her along the floor with him, she turned her head in towards him, freeing up her throat and allowing her some oxygen. She then got her feet under her torso and propelled herself upwards, her hand balled into a fist which was aimed upwards into Kizmats groin. She was bang on target and Kizmat doubled over wheezing, she unwrapped the cable from her neck and sent Kizmat to the floor with a leg drop to the back of his neck.
